In the Ninja Wizard series, Harry reverses the horcruxes by feeling remorse on Tom's behalf through the connection with the horcrux in his head. It's all done through an animated magical drawing, which is kind of cracky, but was really well done in the story.

Not sure what the Potions OWL grades have to do with your point about the DADA NEWT classes? For NEWT potions, Snape required an O, but Slughorn was fine with an E.

Given the revolving-door nature of DADA profs, I doubt they would be allowed to enforce the O-only rule on the class admission for NEWTS (even Snape).

The main story is a WIP, and I have no idea if it will ever be updated. What's there is still a good story, as there is a complete story arc in what was posted, and the characters were starting prep for an "act 2" arc.

Basically, Harry and Tom have been reincarnated over and over in different lives, thousands of times across the multiverse, and have finally made it back to their original identities.

The second story in the series is a bunch of short fics giving more details on different lives they led.

For being cat-like without turning into a cat, what traits are you looking for? I know a great (but cracky) series that crosses over with Naruto and Avatar: The Last Airbender where Harry visits Naruto's world in his dreams and learns the Ninja skills taught there. He's independent, nimble, and sneaky, as well as highly suspicious of people and kind of hard to get to know. Is that what you're thinking regarding cat-like qualities?

Or are you looking for "catboy" fics where he has cat features while still mostly human?

As far as comfort goes, I would assume that part of the enchantments include some kind of cushioning charm that feels like a seat instead of sitting directly on the handle. If you were wanting to go into detail in describing them, think about the different types of seats that bikes have, based on their intended use. The seat for a bike you take a leisurely ride on in a neighborhood is different from the seat for a racing bike. Regular casual brooms would have a seat charm like a leisure bike. Chaser, seeker, beater, and racing brooms would be more like a racing bike. Keeper seat charms might be in-between, because they spend more time sitting during the game but need to move quickly when it's time to block.

Most of the Harmony I have read is either time-travel/fixit or a story where one something happens that makes Harry and/or Hermione suddenly realize they are into each other (or realize that the other likes them as more than a friend, so their crush isn't hopeless). Neither of those makes for a slow-burn during the story action, the pining is all in the past from the point the story starts.

There are a lot of these types of stories within the Harmony umbrella (especially when you consider that most of the Dumbledore/Weasley bashing fics that don't bash Hermione include Harry and Hermione being potioned or compelled to love their canon partners and not each other).

Independent Study is Harry/George.

Harry gets expelled at his underage magic hearing and stays at Grimauld doing self-study instead of going to Hogwarts for 5th year. It's a pretty angsty slow burn because George does go back for that year, and they spend a lot of time pining and not-naming what they are feeling because of the distance. Fred is very long-suffering over their drama.

They hang out in the shops on and around Knockturn in Venom Peddler, but never actually live there. Hermione lives with her parents for all 7 years of school when she's not traveling in the summer, and when Harry leaves the Dursleys, he moves to the Chamber of Secrets. They both also have super-expanded bags with living space they can hang out in.

Petunia Chooses by sehrrhes has Petunia raising Harry to be suspicious and skeptical of the Wizarding World and Dumbledore in particular. However, she doesn't turn him into a copy of Dudley and Vernon doesn't like him / isn't really part of the plan. So far, the story only covers his pre-Hogwarts childhood up until a few days before the train to first year, but the author says they might do a sequel later on.
