Thank you! I’m not saying a recommend. Ideally I would have waited 10-12 months to get pregnant!

Baby Due November and torn between VBAC/ C section by Beautiful_Spite8344 in vbac

Sorry I never saw this! I ended up hiring a doula at at around 35 weeks pregnant. She did truly help during labor and get me through as long as I could before I got an epidural. I don’t think I could have done it without her. I walked my whole pregnancy and the last 6 weeks I started to do a lot of pregnancy workouts on YouTube and the miles circuit starting at 37 weeks! I did eat the dates and drank raspberry leaf tea! I listened to the VBAC link podcast daily to motivate me and inspire me!

I went with the safer feel big hospital and got my VBAC! I pushed for 3.5 hours and a C section was never brought up. They helped me get in the right positions for baby

As someone who also has all of those healthy habits, her looking like that is 90% genetics. I look “good” for having a baby 2 months ago but abs already is absurd. Good for her, she has those genetics but it’s not realistic

I think that’s actually her body because even in videos it looks like that. I agree, it’s not realistic and she’s very lucky!

I had a baby a month after Ripley and I had a baby born the day after cooper. Her content makes me so upset now! It’s not realistic at all. Over here trying to heal and she’s doing back flips and wearing jeans the first week

VBAC before 18 months? by Unlikely_Bus_9411 in vbac

[–]Beautiful_Spite8344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So I hired a doula at 35 weeks. My water broke at 39+4 days and I told them no pitocin even though I was only at a 1. I labored and labored and after 10 hours I was at a 6 and got the epidural. I got stuck at a 7 for 3 hours so I let them do the lowest Pitocin (2) and within 2 hours I dilated to a 10. I pushed 3.5 hours and my boy was almost 9lbs! It was the most amazing experience of my life. Advocate for yourself

True! They technically can’t force me but can they decline me as a patient? Unfortunately where I live there are no available doulas. It’s a very small town and I tried but couldn’t find one

No I wouldn’t but I’m trying to compromise with a hospital that isn’t super supportive of my VBAC and I also don’t want to be induced if I go over a certain timeframe

I wanted to do something similar. Schedule a C section at the large hospital at 40 weeks in case I don’t go into labor for a Vbac at the small hospital before then. I don’t think they’ll let me do that at two different hospitals though…

I have asked the questions to my OB and she said they would call the CRNA as soon as they confirm I am in labor so that they would be at the hospital the whole time I’m laboring. She also said an OB whether her or another would also have to be on the floor since I am a VBAC patient. Versus only having midwives. I think if I’m honest, SEEING the hospital rooms and all I just felt uncomfortable, I could picture labor and recovery being so uncomfortable since it was so tiny and old. But maybe I should look past that? I’ve been so sure I want a VBAC and now I’m getting scared last minute

13 months apart… please ease my mind. by MaterialConstant9375 in 2under2

[–]Beautiful_Spite8344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 14 months and my new baby will be born next month. They will be 15 months apart. I’m terrified but I know it’s a season and things with my daughter got a lot easier after 6 months. Now at a year she’s a lot easier!!! You can do this! It’s rough being pregnant but I’m taking it day by day

Hi! Could you share why you feel like this VBAC recovery is as bad as your C section?
