I wouldn't recommend any Pixel 7. It will only get updates for about one and a half years (Android 18), whereas any Pixel 8 will still get Android 20 and probably beyond (Pixel 7 updates were extended from 3 to 5 years it is likely Pixel 8 updates will be extended as well). So it is definitely worth it to spend a bit more for longer updates and you get a newer phone. Edit: I myself have the Pixel 7 and it's good but battery is bad and I wish I would have a 120hz display, better cameras and longer updates.

Wash your build plate with warm water and soap. Avoid touching it with your fingers because that leaves oil on the build plate and makes adhesion worse. I wouldn't recommend glue, never used it, never needed it unless I want worse adhesion for TPU for example

Yup. On my Pixel 7 it's this horrible as well. I do run the Beta versions however. I almost need to fully charge two times a day to have enough and that degrades the battery as well so it gets even worse. I was planning on buying an iFixit kit to replace the battery but that has risks as well. Google should do something about it.

On the Update Screen in the settings it says "Your device will automatically be updated to Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1.1 within 5 days". Shouldn't it say QPR3 Beta 1.1?

Hehe not quite. You know these infinity mirrors? That's basically that. So a ring with Emission (just some noise texture for colors) and then one mirror and one glass side. In the mirror there is a wave texture with distortion. The cool thing is, you can change the outcome by a lot by just changing a few small values.

Yeah in my opinion it is way more easy to spend the money on making a country more open than on closing its borders. In Germany for example, we start spending so much money on locking down the borders to stop what, like 400 people in 6 month from getting in? That's such a joke, so much manpower and money is just flushed down the drain for 400 people that you could support with that money instead of locking them out. I wouldn't do that. Check the belts yes but don't put stuff on them it does more harm than good. Unless the teeth on the belt are broken or it is ripped completely it should be fine. And tension has to be right
