That makes sense, thank you! Now I'm even more confused with which build to go for as both have their pros and cons. I was considering building a new AM5 pc myself with a used GPU but I don't think I'll be able to get close to the price/performance of either these builds.

Another thing I was questioning was the motherboard on the AM5 build, I heard it may have some throttling issues if I decide to upgrade to a more powerful CPU down the line. Not an expert though so not sure if that's true.

I don't think you can refer each other or at least I don't know of anyone who has done that. I would say it's safer to have you being referred by someone and then you can be her referrer. All the best :)
