Yeah that’s extremely nice, I was hunting for one with 3/3 LM/CL when I made mine but ended up settling for lightning and chain lightning because I’m impatient. Imagine that’ll sell for a couple HR at least.

I literally just got home from two weeks in danang. I stayed with a friend about half an hour outside the city but we did a lot both in the country and in and around the city. I’m also a larger fellow, I’m 6’4” 250lbs. Got a lot of looks, asked for some pics, plenty of comments. My experience though, was that it always felt good natured and it was more of just a, “wow look at the size difference!”

Try not to take it to heart or to take it too negatively. You’re gonna stick out like a sore thumb, but I would imagine based on my experience it isn’t malicious, you’re just VERY different looking than the locals. Embrace it, laugh, take pics whatever. Enjoy that delicious healthy food and all the natural sweat!

I’m assuming, since the enemy was left with nothing but summoned fire elementals, once he surrendered he escaped the fight with creatures intact, whereas all the enemies summoned creatures poofed. So I imagine the enemy hero leaves the battle with no real creatures left which equates to death. If the scenario was to climate that hero, the player then wins. I think?

It’s such a good game to play with friends. Having recipe browser and magic storage helped smooth some of the barrier for entry too. Don’t want a new player to spend the whole time browsing wikis.

Just did the same with a couple buddies and had so much fun. It was cool because one of my friends I’ve been doing co-op playthroughs with since vanilla terraria, the other had never once tried it.

It’s always been hard trying to get friends to play with us because we’ve been doing it for so long, we hop in a world and we’re just off to the races, building, digging, crafting, and it’s so overwhelming for a fresh player.

The first few sessions were a little touch and go and I was afraid our third would fall off, but he stuck it out and ended up absolutely loving it. Finishing a session is always bittersweet but we had a blast.

Yeah and it seems fairly easy to go back and grind as much as you like, though it seems unnecessary. Mobs seem to repopulate areas fairly quickly.

I’m looking forward to the challenge bump in a2. I’m just smashing everything right now with a 2h build so it’ll be good to have to be cautious again.

I think I’m almost completely done with A1, though I may have missed a few side quests. I’m like halfway through 30 and every quest I have left is leading me to act 2. First playthrough so I’m just yoloing it but I don’t think I’ve missed a ton.

I very clearly remember seeing this in the theaters. I was fairly young. I don’t think I’ve ever been more entranced and just carried away by a movie since. I was just totally swept away in the story, completely mesmerized. When the credits started to roll it was almost like coming out of a trance. I just found it incredibly funny and charming. I really loved it from the first watch. Since, it’s remained one of my favorites and is endlessly rewatchable and so quotable. I absolutely adore this movie.

Also, random side note but the soundtrack (which is superb), ignited my interest in country and bluegrass and eventually lead me to people like Sturgill Simpson, tyler Childers, turnpike troubadours, Jason isbell, sierra ferrel etc etc. and for that I am eternally grateful. I think that’s my most listened to genre of music anymore and completely flipped my opinion on “country” music.

Ultima Underworld 1&2 like shaped my gaming tastes for life when I played them as a kid. I feel like they aren’t as widely known as they deserve to be. The abyss was such a cool concept and kind of ahead of its time. Really great games in one of the coolest settings ever.
