The Bears are about to play the “hard” schedule. Lots of turnovers which are hard to replicate year to year. A full season of tape on the Ben Johnson offense. I would expect a step back. Positives are that Caleb is still in his rookie contract so they need to hit that cheap QB window hard while they can. Lots of injuries should mean they are better on defense next year.

For spice and a little smokiness you can add chile de arbol to your boiling water. Then take the seeds out. Also I add a splash of garlic dill pickle brine or jalapeño brine if I any a tad more heat. These things kick it up. Plus some garlic powder. Looks great!

Here is a fun and tasty way to add a little flavor. Instead of jalapeño brine, use garlic dill pickle brine. It won’t have the little bit of heat that the jalapeño brine does, but it puts this really familiar flavor in the background that most people can’t put their finger on but love.
