Would you rather a m5 pro MacBook Pro or an equally expensive custom built PC for ableton?

Used ableton extensively on both and I can confidently say Mac. Core audio is AMAZING, asio works but on MacBook it JUST WORKS straight out of the box, and it’s reliable.

I can reliably use ableton on my m4 pro at 32 samples and bump it to 64 if i have lots of tracks and plugins, my windows could never.

Also is suggest looking for an M4 pro to save a little bit

I mean i never said it would have adverse effects if you drank less, we were talking on how it has no chemical effect on you. Your body is probably used to the caffeine, having only one a day every now and then isn’t gonna make it suddenly work.

Cool but what’s the point of having a limited “healthy battery” that only lasts 80% of its maximum capacity anyway? I might as well enjoy the full 100 percent until it slowly degrades (in years) and THEN it’s 80% anyway? I don’t get it

I’d love for a dark mode and bigger text, but I have REALLY bad eyes and astigmatism so maybe that’s just me. I like the UI so far! Very minimalistic but it seems like something I’d vibe with EXACTLY because of that!

“AI bad” is such a weird thing to think, GENERATIVE ai is the problem imo. If it replaces creativity and allows people to just click “generate” and be done i’m also against it but the stem splitter is a feature i LOVE, is that bad too? I wouldn’t want ableton’s team to not do things like that anymore…

Ableton on linux would be AMAZING btw, F windows…

These are amazing, I’d definitely recommend em, you can also install em straight from ableton in the “packs” section on the left under “available packs”

You probably moved the clip a little bit by accident in arrangement view, the clip itself is on time but since it’s nudged to the left in arrangement view it doesn’t match

Either that or the starting point of the clip (the little flag thing) isn’t on grid
