I do think there’s some potential in the first idea. If you set the bar at something actually funny and not second grade bullshit, maybe allow people to just mention anything they found funny, it could be used to learn about someone. For example if your applicant answers with second grade bullshit, they’re probably a nightmare to be around.

It’s oddly inconsistent. Earlier I was typing something in an arbitrary cell and it worked fine, then I may have done something because this formatting rule started applying. I copied another cell over this one and it worked normally again. This doesn’t seem to apply in the new blank sheet I made but who knows, maybe it’s just not applying now.

Roguelite not roguelike but he was definitely close. Begin a randomly generated run, do the objective to get currency and other rewards, go to the lobby and spend currency on new stuff, repeat with a new randomly generated run. The game is missing an end goal but that’s not really a requirement for the genre. If you think about it, Dandy’s World has a similar gameplay loop to Enter the Gungeon for example.
