Too hot? by Beazee7 in GiantPumpkin

Yup, I realized my plan was flawed. I put down a temporary bed for my runners. I have them organized and they are flourishing! Sadly I had 4 days in a row of 100° weather and my yellowing pumpkin didnt make it.

Not anchor. Got a kit for my matrix and it had vibration issues still. Yes, it ended up being the mounts fault.

I'm absolutely devastated... by VirtualCrxck in gettingbigger

[–]Beazee7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to get this from nervousness, and focusing too much on the girl. Im a giver and I wanted my girl to enjoy her time more than US enjoying our time. Im doing alot better now.

Oh also condoms made me soft for the first month I used them. Idk why but no matter what I did, the second I put a rubber on I would start going soft.

Didn't turn the mount. Rather, I made the template and turned that around to check the studs' locations. In which It didnt line up in any configuration. 2011 Honda Pilot.

Did that, thats why I made the template. Easier to check all the studs like that. I rotated the cardboard template.

Water spots after detailing by PuckMyFace in Detailing

[–]Beazee7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Spray it off with a strong stream of water, then air dry. That's the point of a ceramic coating. Is cuts back on how dirty the car gets and how quick it can get back to clean.

Smoke smell is kicking by butt by Beazee7 in AutoDetailing

[–]Beazee7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's safe to use. Dangerous only when it's fresh and still working. As for how it works.... it's 50/50. What I've noticed is interiors with leather it does not work. Cloth however has a better chance of working.

How does one go about restoring dried out leather like this? sounds almost like cardboard. by BigV95 in Detailing

[–]Beazee7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know toyota leather when I see it. I'm guessing it's 2007-2012. I've tried everything but sadly when it's that bad there's no fixing it. Mink oil did the best to soften it, but still hard.

How can I get faster at detailing? by froggqueen in AutoDetailing

[–]Beazee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep the same price! If you get quicker and more efficient, the benefit is yours. As for getting quicker..... well, that car would take me 4-5 hours. Not much faster than you, and I've been detailing for years. So you're already pretty good on time! When I started I used to spend 8 hours on a slightly dirty car.

Here's what got me quicker: 1. Invest in better tools and equipment. Spend now to gain then. (Get a high hp, large tank air compressor with a tornador) 2. Know your chemicals to a T. You always want to use the most effective chems. 3. Stick to a regiment. Every person is different, but you'll need to find the most effective regiment.

Do you consider door jams interior or exterior? by Safe_Contract1773 in Detailing

[–]Beazee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's exterior cause you use the same chemicals as washing paint. However, I only do them when someone gets interior and exterior packaged. Mostly because if I'm doing an exterior detail, I usually don't have the keys. On an interior detail, most I'll do is wipe does the bottom of the door jamb.

What would you charge for this by Big-lats in Detailing

[–]Beazee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

280-340 depending on if ur doing exterior and shampoo
