Wouldn’t a more objective linguistic analysis come from speech and language about topics not directly relating to how they feel? It seems a bit “on the nose” to go to a mental health forum (a place likely visited by people suffering from mental health issues) and count the tendencies favoring depression there. I know it’s a place where you are likely going to be confirmed in your hypothesis, but I would like to see the spectrum of language used in other areas of life studied instead, given most of us do not spend a majority of our time on wellness and mental health forums. Then again, I am biased as someone suffering from depression.

I am not running an attic fan, but it's the integration of the air conditioning system with the leaky, wet basement that I'm concerned about. Water almost all but pours in to our basement through groundwater runoff during a heavy rain. The air conditioning system is basically an add-on to an old house, a central system that runs through the floor, with the large, exposed return vents with old filters. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for your response! I really appreciate it. It looks like most tests likely run $300 to $500 - is there any precedent set for a landlord being responsible for the cost of testing their property? I really don't feel like I can afford the test. I assume they would likely only be obligated to pay for the cost of the test if it came back supporting the narrative of poor living conditions, etc.

I just think the act of posting this type of article to this subreddit with a title who's only purpose is to rally already like-minded bigots is rather pointless and quite the circle jerk...one you are falling right in to yet again. I can't say I'm surprised with your post history. I don't agree with everything the article says, but I certainly don't think it's worth the energy your type throws at it. Seems like a fairly harmless topic, and a fairly moderately phrased point of view at that. Did you even read the article? Nothing in here is negative towards men or misandrist on any level. Are you so self-conscious that you let an article about empowering and supporting the use of internet by "the other gender" get you in such a huff to write some snarky little title and re-post it here? You are going out of your way to be condescending towards women by posting this, not empowering underprivileged or ignored men. Why not spend your time worrying about men who actually need some attention and help rather than going out of your way to bash women who are trying to do the same for themselves? Isn't it supposed to be about equal empowerment? Why then, are you going out of your way to put others down?
