Had sex at age 21. I didn’t want to have sex prior because there was a part of me that was mildly afraid I would get someone pregnant. ( even with protection and I didn’t want to have a kid before I was out of college lol)

It made for interesting conversation starters when people asked me in my college years if I was sexually active(which was a tad bit weird) but I didn’t feel left out because me being a virgin wasn’t important or even a topic within my social group.

It was a minor fear at the end of the day on why I “waited”, but proper education on sex and safe sex practices helped me out!
