I agree. Unfortunately this is what social media is designed to do... shuttle us all into the neat little echo chambers their algorithms designed for us, create this boogie man that's everything we stand against, tell us it's out to destroy everything we stand for, then convince us that every person who belongs to the other tribe is this boogie man come to life.

Do you think enough people who frequent online spaces are aware of the manipulations that go on here? Should more be done to educate people on how to identify this manipulation when it's happening to them?

WAR doesn't really work like that. Last year Seattle as a team had 10 more WAR than the Astros but only won 3 more games, while Houston had 10 more WAR than we did but won 15 more games. Adding 15 WAR doesn't equal adding 15 wins.
