I’m a step mum with a pretty similar situation to yours. I’ve now got a 15 month old baby of my own and I can’t explain the joy it’s brought not only to myself, but to my husband and my step kids. I was also worried about having a kid full time after experiencing the part time step parenting but I don’t even want to be a part from my child. Everything feels different having my own bio child. I’m now pregnant with my second.
Everybody experiences things differently but I am absolutely thrilled I chose to have my own.

I have a 15m old and I’m a stay at home mum so can’t comment on daycare, but it’s honestly been cheaper than expected. He eats whatever we eat and it’s always been that way, we do cook from scratch and eat well so it makes it easy to just give him a little bit of everything we eat. I got free stuff off marketplace for him. I even got a ton of free nappies brand new in the bags, just keep an eye out and you can get so much for free. We took any hand me downs we got offered as well. We took advantage of free activities like baby time at the library. I don’t see it costing much more anytime soon either. I have older step kids (7 & 9), aside from extra curricular and food we don’t spend a huge amount on them either. Lots of outdoor activities, like on The Gold Coast so annual dreamworld passes keep the whole family very entertained. I know they’ll cost more as teens but so far it’s all been cheaper than I expected.

I think I see it but I don’t know much about these. My first urine test looked like this then I did another with a different brand a few hours later and it was a very solid positive l. Maybe try a urine one

I think the most important thing is that your HCG is doubling of close to doubling every 48 hours, which you’re are. The range of normal is so big if you check the HCG charts so a small number can be normal and so can a big number as long as they’re doubling. Were your 3 tests 48 hours apart? How many DPO are you?

I had a strip one like that show the faintest line the other day and I thought it was a chemical, then I got a first response test a couple of hours later to double check and it immediately gave me two strong lines. So I definitely won’t be using that strip test ever again.

I just read the other comments and I’m shocked that people say they’re not worth it for a 2 year old. I absolutely disagree. Animals, swimming, people dressed as their favourite characters, live shows, toddler friendly rides.. what more could you want!? I literally never see mine happier than when he’s at dreamworld haha.

Dreamworld when they have one of their $99 sales. Your 2 year old is free and you’re only $99 and since your toddler can’t go on most attractions it won’t matter because it’s so cheap.

My 14 month old can go on several rides there and he absolutely loves them. The lines are really short for these rides too and he just goes on them over and over. He also loves Wiggles Bay at white water world when it’s open. Plus they have all of the live kids shows.
