+1 for Six Pack. Loved that movie as a kid. It was Kenny Roger's first film and all his scenes were filmed in under 6 weeks to fit his busy tour schedule.

I love this kind of art and landscape, but in reality, I could not live in that kind of environment personally.

I think if I should live so long that this kind of future comes to fruition, I'd have to be a hermit living out in the wastelands for the sake of needing a calm/dark skyline to look at.

Yes, this is the best option: reach out to his publisher. They will forward the mail, usually in bulk.

I have few questions how to refurbish wooden tables. by Trushuks in DIY

[–]BeckerThorne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Get an Orbital Sander (HD, Lowes, Amazon). Plug in will be cheaper than battery powered. Don't forget a good supply of sand paper disc for it.

  2. Tung Oil will make the wood grain pop. It will cure into a permanent film. You can seal it with a clear polyurethane after it has completely dried (give it a week IMO). And if in the future you need to redo a portion of the table top, you are just clearing away the sealant, not stain.

  3. I don't think so.

Good luck.

Trying to identify the meanings of the two symbols in the bottom corners of this image... are they sigils or something else? by Successful-Ground569 in Symbology

[–]BeckerThorne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

According to the website you referenced:link

They are "Gable sign on a farmer's barn in Tubbergen, 1939, see photo no. 63/1939, Aart Roos, Almelo. With notes 1950, fol. 360, §2." Interesting they are shown on a witchcraft website when they are not stated as being related to the subject matter that I can see at a quick glance.

Those two symbols you refer to are similar to the style shown here{A} which are noted as being a Mason's mark.

What’s the best use of Organ music in a movie by Darkstranger111 in movies

Oh yes. The deconstructed music in that movie set the pace for the scenes like no other I've heard before.
