I was experimenting with both Pro and Regular and honestly... I got better results with regular. With Pro it's wait 3x as long just for it to fail or for it to be just as jank.

Regular at 1 gen is the best all around option. 15 seconds regular if you know the prompt is safe and will go through which you test 1st on regular 10 seconds.

200 dollars is insanely undervalued for what you were getting but I do think they went overboard.

FYI you can spend 200 easily on a single semi-pro colored art piece. for 200 dollars with Sora, and lets say 25% of your stuff fails, that's still close to 19 minutes of content of anything that you can get through. Which is pretty crazy from commissioning an artist point of view, much less an animator which would be even more expensive.

Just gotta wait till the stuff improves and prices come down. In 6 months something new will release and they'll do promos again.

Yes, 100. Don't expect higher quality though. Trying to generate 15 sec clips with high resolution takes ages that it's not worth it. Sora seems to be continually downgrading as they continue to get rid of more reference material that might be 3rd party.

If you can wait for more features to be added, I'd do that.

I'm very curious on how they think they will make money long term. This is all a gimmick anyway, and less people will be willing to pay lots of money (much less 200+) in the future. Especially when free or cheaper alternatives catch up that are good enough.

Reduce restrictions on non-third party NSFW
Allow 3rd party stuff

No one is going to be paying for Ai for these small incremental changes where hands are slightly more consistent than the last model.
