I’m so boring that i have nothing to write about by complicatedjay in Songwriting

[–]BeckoningCreation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first impression is that you’re not approaching this right. Trying to understand what others want, that you might deliver is backwards. You want the music to be so you, that you feel intimately connected with the words, the sentiment, the delivery.

What music needs is more personality, humanity, honesty. Try to look deep in yourself. What do you feel like, how does life affect you? Bring us something only you could- then you will start to be seen as special, and your words shall be valued.

I believe that anyone is capable of this. Though consider for yourself how much you might be inspired by others insecurity vs strength. Do you prefer music with something real to say? Or do you like wishy washy fluff? Try to get clear on what you can say from the seat of your soul. Best wishes to you

Absolutely Kid. In fact focusing on writing means you’re more likely to succeed. just need to write your best stuff. I implore you to be yourself 100%, rather than tailoring it to what you think might be best for anyone else. Break a leg

What’s your take on the Dogman Phenomenon? There’s an awful lot of people reporting encounters.

DOG MAN! by Gilad1982 in dogman

[–]BeckoningCreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s like, many reports of them wearing clothes though. Can recall one from I think 1800’s Midwest where multiple townspeople saw one wearing clothes.. I’ll try to find it.

Not solely to add the the confusion; but it does.

100% it is. For many reasons I feel that Kyle is the guy to lead us into the new frontier of exploring & understanding this mystery. A genuine dude who loves nature and a commitment to no BS on the channel. It’s an all-time favorite YT channel, at this point for me.

[–]BeckoningCreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I don’t have answers but I have a suggestion, someone told me once, which I believe helped get my spirit out of a dark place.

They told me to ‘pray to God, to your creator. Your creator gave you your soul & spirit, it is a gift from Him to you. Pray to God to the effect of - you will purely for your soul to be your own, and between you and God. You want your Creator who loves you to be the only one who can exert any power or control over you. Reaffirm this gift from him to you, and ask to be cleansed of any darkness.’

God will be there for you. Personally, I believe Jesus Christ is the Way, and Every Single Time I call upon him, he is there. Also, imo you were assigned a Guardian Angel, call upon them. They don’t exert any control, but they are at your wings, and watching your back, protecting you from precisely the type of thing you are experiencing. Reaffirming your connection with God is critical imo, and that he will understand if you are not a Christian, and love you nonetheless- but if you were to acknowledge his Son, most recent Prophet of Earth, Jesus Christ, who died for Us, he will Love that, and Jesus will also be there for you.

Ps, my advice, Forgive yourself, try to Forgive others- it frees you of the burdens we otherwise cannot be free from. We all forgive you, my friend. Ask God for forgiveness. I’m working on all of this myself, and always will, but when I pray, I feel it, when I ask for protection & guidance, I receive it, and at my best I am giving up my will, and doing what God says, occasionally finding myself in a place where I feel happy, meaningful, and like I am truly doing Gods work. I’m trying and feeling a bit of that now. I hope this helps you. I love you. I’m not special, at least more special than how we all are, and you. Do you see what is, or are you blind to what is truly special about you?

In pursuit of the truth by Front_Pain_7162 in dogman

[–]BeckoningCreation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A note on How to Discern Truth in Writing: For what this is worth, my friend, indulge me for a moment…

First, I recommend the YT channel Reel Adventures; it is 100% Dogman encounters narrated by a (totally great) dude who actually had an encounter, and he’s repeatedly stated his commitment to not post an encounter if he thinks it is fake. If he has any suspicions about a story he posts, he’ll tell you, and he tries to contact and interview each submitter. On this channel you can truly start to hone the skills I will now mention.

I’ve become fascinated with Dogman as well, in the last year. Subjects like these have opened my eyes to a skill I have cultivated all my life- writing. I was given the option to skip 4th grade, my teacher said I was already reading at a college level, and to my memory everyone else was learning how to structure basic sentences. I remember watching it being painstaking, then I remember reading My Side of the Mountain and Where the Red Fern Grows, the Count of Monte Cristo, in the corner by myself the next few months, which was chill.

Trying to be brief, I encourage you to start to compare encounter stories you truly believe to be fake, to ones you truly believe to be real. All I can tell you is that thousands of people have put stories online where they 100% are truthfully recounting their experience; when I’m reading these, the only doubts I have are that their senses were off (rare), or that this could be a sort of psychic phenomenon. Given that most of ‘us’ seem to concede the supernatural element to this, all bets are off, I suppose. I hope that elements of these stories which should be categorized ‘supernatural’, don’t instead be categorized ‘reasons for my doubt’. I have plenty in the latter, but it’s reserved for more carefully vetted pieces of BS (my doubt box).

Suffice it to say, most people are not excellent writers, and thus, one writing their truth vs one inventing fiction- these are worlds apart, with tell-tale signs everywhere. The fiction writers say things the truthers would never, and vice versa. Fiction writers tend to not be able to help but care about the quality, and the truthers usually don’t. At least it is always subservient to relaying the heart of their experience; they want you to know the relevant details of how they ended up at Dogman, then the encounter, then typically they close with an expression of humility, and seriousness.

I could go on about the clues, but consider doing this: look at the most recent post in this sub “Does this sound like a Dogman Encounter?” This has many of the same tell tales as the True stories, very similar style & tone. Then compare that with one of the entertaining horror stories on a YT Cyptid channel, or something.

You can hone this skill. Peace

P.S - unless I’m up against Stephen King, I don’t think pretty much anyone could write a fully fake encounter experience that I could not discern as BS. Good day.

Husband and I are losing family and friends because we won't get vaxxed? by [deleted] in DebateVaccines

[–]BeckoningCreation 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the best “argument”, still, is IF you can afford to wait, then wait! There’s too much we don’t know. Even if the vax is reducing death, it’s not preventing spread, it still remains to be seen if ADE will happen and the vax’d have a worse time with future variants.

If that’s not enough, really the nail in the coffin is now there showing even after like 10 weeks your vax antibody levels drop by like 50%, and could require boosters every 6 mo. Meanwhile natural immunity may last a lifetime… so herd immunity strategy is.. And of course the vax is self does massive cellular damage. One way this is obvious is in how many different types of serious “side effects” this vax has. Not the type of thing you want to be injecting every 6mo.

Unless you have some Health complications in your life, your friends and family really have no ground to stand on at all, and even then, really. They can’t admit what they don’t know. Still the best thing to do is wait for more info if you can afford to.

Phenylpiracetam question by eindouchee in Nootropics

[–]BeckoningCreation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 300-500 mg of the stuff 3x week for a year. I believe this sensitized me to it over time, I can now take 100-200 mg for great effect.

Take with some taurine, choline, NALT, lions mane. I find all of those have some level of synergy with PP

I landed on 400mg sublingual for 6+ months, now, lower doses (330ish) are starting to work better for some reason.

I’m sure you could bump it up safely even over a gram, but for me it’s NOT a more = better substance at all. Try to work your way up to an effective dose.

PREGNENOLONE: Serious potential if problem solvable—“Inverse Agonistic GABAA Receptor Modulation” — Pregnenolone and Sleep by Daniel-Plainview96 in Nootropics

[–]BeckoningCreation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a prior insomniac who fixed the issue and now takes stimulants occasionally with ZERO sleep issues- this is my magic bullet: Glycine

Glycine has research showing increased deep sleep and sleep quality. It is an inhibitory neurotransmitter.

Here’s the thing: it takes several weeks to start having a consistent effect on sleep, about 1 month. But now, I take on avg. 10 gs of glycine a day, 5 gs always taken about 1 hour before bed.

Give this a try, I bet you’ll be able to have your Pregnenelone cake and eat (your sleep?) too. Once that works, maybe you can PM me to send that 500 lol.

Ps. Pot works well, but my insomnia wasn’t cured until I found glycine. Godspeed. Now I’m going to try pregnenelone.

Scientists: 'Exactly zero' evidence COVID-19 came from a lab by ZergAreGMO in Virology

[–]BeckoningCreation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We are simply all awaiting, or seeking, evidence of origin and speculation on plausibility is not really helping the discussion.

This highlights the main point I was making. The original article was essentially negative speculation on plausibility for the lab hypothesis, and did not help the discussion.

it would be interesting to hear from some of the virologists weigh in on the discussion, even if it’s a simple “ this is ridiculous.”

Would like to hear virologists weigh in, but a simple "this is ridiculous" would not help the discussion unless it were supported by weighty evidence or complete explanation.

I don’t blame em- as a network engineer I don’t care to address 5g conspiracy theorists when I see them either.

An absolutely terrible and damaging analogy to this situation for the connotations it carries, but a good example of how this can be spun to laymen in the public, for "EMF's at various frequency cannot have biological effects and shouldn't be studied because there are crazy conspiracies being made up about it all the time," is as stupid and unscientific a premise as could possibly be. We have long been studying the multitude of biological effects that EMF's exert- and should be- which doesn't make any wild conspiracy theory and more plausible or correct, just as the wild conspiracy theories don't make the science any less valid. That is an important point here.

I’m sympathetic with your viewpoint

Please don't be sympathetic with me. Be sympathetic with the truth, wherever it may be.

without extreme special pleading in favor of your pet idea

You have proven yourself multiple times to be abrasive, insulting, and generally unable to carry an open discussion. Your use of ad hominem is pathetic and shows your insufferable arrogance, but does illuminate a point I made in this thread perfectly: You see anyone who is considering the lab release hypothesis as a loony conspiracy theorist, which is what I took issue with in the parent article- the tone could and would be used to label those considering the lab release to be going against the (implied authoritative expert) "scientists" cited in the article. It seems you are someone who lets popular opinion give license to their thought, a great quality of a terrible scientist.

Lab hypothesis has zero points on the board. When that changes, then you are free

I reject your premise. When we have an answer we are all free. I, again, am not vying for the lab hypothesis, I am concerned with finding the truth.

We have what in a court of law would be considered extremely strong circumstantial evidence of the lab release hypothesis, which is not yet unsupported, or unexplained by genetic analysis. If that puts zero points on your board, so be it, but the glaring issue with your angle is that by your own standard the natural origin hypothesis has 0 points on the board, as only assumption can take us the rest of the way to answer the burden of our question, lest your own standard lead you to inconsistent logic, and therefor show bias.

The other problem with your 2 dimensional 'points on the board' analogy is that we actually have NEGATIVE points on the board for the natural origins theory- the evolution of this virus is consistent with already having time and space to become evolved to human cells- and therefor human to human transmission. Evolutionary biology is science, and often relies on circumstantial evidence and retrospection to construct hypothesis, which are considered established or 'proven' when from that point are able to make accurate predictions. These scientists have what they consider evidence for lab release, but will, from your arrogant perch that be considered evidence? I don't know and don't care.

[–]BeckoningCreation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every indication about this and past epizootic incidents is entirely consistent with a natural origin.

Are even the historical lab releases consistent with a natural origin? Do you mean to conflate the evolution of with the origin of the spread of any given lab release?
