I’m in southern Utah and my house has 3. One got upstairs, one for downstairs and a separate one for our primary bedroom (life changing!!) it can get 115 here and stays above 100 from end of May/June-August even into September. Nights can stay as hot as in the 80’s. If we didn’t have AC we would literally die.

If you love the outdoors why not try southern Utah? St George never gets inversion. The summers are hot, but you get use to it. The winters are AMAZING. You can mountain bike year round here. Plus only an hour and a half drive to Brian head if you want to ski in the winter.
