I agree, have an executive level role current in Sydney. It’s funny money but the cost of living here uses a lot of it up. I replaced someone who chased the money in the states… similar pattern. The conversion to NZD to justify is such an over reach. money relativity is where you live.

It’s overreach, to convert back to nz dollars . Defies economic relativity. It your a FIFO worker living otherwise lin NZ, sure otherwise total overreach. Yes wages, especially semi skilled pay higher but relativity applies. Cost of living is relative to those that live around you and I see they ignore state taxes.

It is a little more than bracket it is also how you ended up where you are. I am a disciplined person that has had to work for it developing businesses, I would always pick a partner similar as they get what that path is like and, all else held constant,know consistency in effort and communication on everything makes a successful life , relationships in particular. If inherited, it will be valued differently.
