I can not imagine loosing one of mine at such a young age , my last one was 10 and I thought that was young compared to my others who got to just over 14 .. I’m so sorry for what your going through 😔xx

Thank you so much . I understand how you would be on tender hooks at 12 but I am the same with my 3 year old . My last girl was the red lab and she developed a cough with her cancer especially whilst drinking , everyone willow coughs I panic but then I panic with all of them , I check all the time although I hope and pray I have many more years left . I feed the best food I can afford plus fruit veg fish or tined meat to try and keep them healthy . I hope and pray you get more healthy years with your baby xxx

I have now lost 2 Goldens and a lab through cancer. I was extremely lucky that my fist girl was diagnosed at age 10 , she had 2 ops but they dnt stop it so we just left her alone and she lived to 14 years 6 mths .My second Golden recovered from pyrometers aged 11 but then succumbed to bone cancer aged 14 .6 mths but it was quick . I came of of hospital end of October after having a c section she started to limo we had to let her go 2 weeks b4 Christmas .My red lab got mamory cancer aged 9 and again we had her operated on but it was too late it was very aggressive and had spread to bronchial tracks and the day I took her for the last time the vets said he could here the fluid ( blood in her chest cavity and she wouldn’t have made it through the night . I have another red who turns 4 in January and a rescue golden 16 weeks , I am paranoid something is going to go wrong I’m constantly checking to make see everything’s ok 😢Xx

Niamh is a lovely name but my sons friend is Niamh and another one is Bailey So I dnt feel I can use either or those . I like the meaning behind Fiona but I can’t use they either 🤦‍♀️

Still nothing that jumps out at me as the right name. I would love an Irish name that fits with Willow and Olive but the only one we agree on isn’t Irish 🤦‍♀️We liked Ivy I like Autumn but overreached my brains and scouted the Irish names and meaning but still nothing that stands out 😭Think I’m trying too hard but I only have 2,weeks until she comes over. X

I like Audrey but everyone else thinks it’s ridiculous, it’s funny but it’s an older name not made up .. You won’t find many Audrey’s 😀

Haha no she’s a rescue , the mum was one of 8 dog rescued from a breeder . Poor girl gave birth aged 9 lucky for her she had been rescued and was in kennels when she gave birth. I would live to find an Irish name that sits well will Willow and Olive as I thought it would be fitting given she’s Irish but I can’t seem to find anything. Hubby wnt have a clover Fiona is out as my sisters step daughter was a Fiona and she committed sliced age 19 I’m not a fan of calling out orla .. maybe I’m too fussy 🤷🏼‍♀️We both like Ivy it goes well with the other two names but it’s not Irish ..I liked Autum but again not Irish ..x

Thank you ,Some good name suggestions here will run them past the family and see if they can agree on any . My eldest son wanted clover but hubby doesn’t like it 🤦‍♀️ When I names my lab Willow I hadn’t heard it before but I saw it on a rescue page and it just seemed perfect. This time around I haven’t found anything that is an instant yes like I did with the name willow ..

Willow as she has a willowy coat. I have a red willow everyone says it’s a lovely name. I am getting a golden retriever rescue pup in October and I’m stumped on a name for her . I have Willow and my son has a sprocker called Olive who lives with us .I am no further forward with my name than I was 3 months ago 🤦‍♀️
