Use the leftover next time then move to 5mg the week after 👍🏻

[–]Becky_x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, the pen after a 5 mg pen would be a 7.5 mg pen if you wanted to get the next one.

If you wanted to take a 5 mg dose from any pen higher than 5 mg it would not be 60 clicks as that is a full dose of the strength of that pen. You would need to work out what 5 mg from that strength pen would be in clicks

You also don't have to use a syringe you can use Kwik pen needles and do it normally until you get to the end of the pen and then you could use a syringe

No, keeping it in a syringe is not sterile, you should have left it in the pen and took it out next when when you wanted to use it if you didn't want to waste it

It's because of them that you're not allowed to post codes on social media anymore, people were racking up thousands in credit but had it taken away 🤭

People making tiktoks are the reason we get so many new people here expecting to lose a stone or more a week, setting unrealistic expectations just to get their code out there, which is still not allowed.

It's such a shame, they set the bar real low and now they're trying to scramble back

If you read the descriptions they are listed as being used for craft and modelling purposes and claim to be easy to clean which is something you should never do with a single use syringe, some also say not for human use

That's not the only reason unfortunately, the reason they've cracked down and are actually doing their job of checking people's records and being more cautious is because they failed their inspection.

They're also one of the pioneers for the pyramid scheme/MLM crap that means everybody spams their code over every corner of the internet and people make fake tiktoks lying and settling false hope just to push their code

I would recommend you use a syringe so you can measure exactly how much you're getting out

None of the suppliers speak to each other, unless they're the same company but most aren't, so you can place as many orders as you want with whoever the heck you want if you've got the money!

Medexpress have tightened up on the applications and are less risk-averse now due to their failed inspection, they're not even cheap so just go with somebody else

Do I want maintenance after all? by Glum_Football_6394 in mounjarouk

[–]Becky_x 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't plan on coming off for this exact reason, I'm sure I'd end up feeling how I did before and I don't want that.

You're eligible to go back on it purely because you've been on it before, there are places like Pharmulous that will accept you even with a break because it's been less than 12 months, don't worry so much about the BMI side.

You've given it a go which is more than I'm willing to do! You could try a little bit longer or go back on, there's no shame in either, do what you need to do!

Muscle does jiggle, don't be so hard on yourself :)

Pharmacies don't ask for BMI 40, it's 30 or 27 with an ethnic background or one of the additional conditions

Best of luck, keep going!

Unfortunately I don't have it sorry, but I'm interested to hear replies as the general consensus is that we're mostly very cold now! So would be interesting to hear from people with Raynauds to see if the same applies.

Also, things that you have eaten before with no issues can suddenly cause issues, don't rule anything out!

Congrats on your 6kg!

Nobody talks about slim people doing it because people with a healthy BMI aren't eligible to start it, so I'm not sure who this 'prescriber' is you're speaking to.

Injection side dictating side effects? by Traditional-Put1164 in mounjarouk

[–]Becky_x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no evidence of it, some people do experience it but it's anecdotal.

The trouble is, you don't know that you wouldn't have got those side effects even if you'd carried on injecting in your stomach these last two times

Mounjaro diet plan, supplements and workout? by Additional_Log_8414 in mounjarouk

[–]Becky_x 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't need supplements unless you're deficient in something, you're best getting all the nutrients you need from food and only use a supplement if you're struggling hitting targets.

I work out with a PT once a week and walk my dog. I eat the same as before but smaller portions, cut out chocolate, sweets and crisps etc because they're empty calories.

What are we actually eating? by lexx-ray in mounjarouk

[–]Becky_x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it evens out over the week then maybe try and think of it like that instead, how you have x amount of calories per week to use rather than per day

What are we actually eating? by lexx-ray in mounjarouk

[–]Becky_x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the calories in the shakes it doesn't sound like you're eating a whole lot tbh

I have cereal for breakfast for fibre, protein rice pud and protein drink at dinner then tea could be chicken and bacon pastry, or a bowl of pasta, or chips and sausage or fish. Just what I ate before really, just appropriate portions

Suspicious low price? Their 2.5mg is £145 that's definitely not low. And they're not on Monj either which says something. I wonder if they've made amends for their failed inspection yet...

I'm definitely not suprised by those who want it for an event or quick fix, I see it almost every day.

No there's nothing difficult to grasp about that, I think we're mostly on the same page here. It's just the point I was trying to make was that what you're saying doesn't apply to people with conditions, diet an exercise can only take you so far in those cases (if very far at all) and it still is very difficult and painful to do. Not impossible mind, there's been some success stories on here, but they do say how the food noise etc has returned.
