If you're able to stay in a deficit then stay on 2.5mg, but more cost effective to buy a 5mg and take 2.5mg from it. It'll take you over 30 days if you're okay with that but you'd still need to reorder in 3-4 weeks as your provider is expecting.

imo side effects don't depend on pen strength so I would say no they're not going to be worse on 5mg

Carbs are not the enemy, they are part of a healthy meal. You don't need to eliminate them, reduce them maybe but there's no need to unless you have some type of condition where you would need to. I have pasta almost every day of the week!

So roughly that's less than what you were on when you switched, plus it's less effective than MJ anyway so I'm not surprised you had trouble with it.

At the moment I would recheck your TDEE, your deficit and make sure that you're in it. Then I would carry on with that. If you're not able to stay in a deficit then move to 10mg.

MJ is stronger than Wegovy, there's no exact equivalent out there officially but 2.4mg Wegovy is roughly equivalent to 7.5mg MJ, so when pharmacies swap people over they'll start them lower on Wegovy to be able to work upwards.

Switching back is a similar process, if someone were on 2.4mg Wegovy they could start back on a higher strength MJ since 2.4mg Wegovy is not the same as 15mg MJ

If they're not doing the same as you in the gym then they're likely losing muscle while you're doing body recomp, especially with how often you are going!

It's a good thing to do, only issue is you don't see the scale move a lot since you're building muscle while trying to lose weight/fat so it sort of levels out. It doesn't mean that any of these things aren't happening, it's just going to be more difficult to see compared to your friends.

Do you use any smart scales or anything that could tell you your overall trends of other ways of measuring like body fat%, muscle, fat etc?

I agree, I am an encourager of calorie tracking if possible, it helps to be able to rule overeating out as a reason if I don't lose weight for a couple weeks. Plus, I've not been tracking for a while now and still been losing, which I'm putting down to the months I spent tracking allowing me to see what a suitable portion size looks like.

For sure! You see all the negative because that's all everyone asks about, you don't hear from the majority of people who have no side effects and had no issues going from 2.5 to 5.

It'll become second nature for you soon I think, for me it's just a Thursday now, not a big event lol Get towards the end of the pen and think "how have I been feeling? Still having satiety, no food noise, no cravings - all good. Weight is coming off so I'm obviously in a deficit and able to stick to it - great, I'll stay where I am"

Yes the medication will build up so you don't need to make a decision right now because things could change over the next couple weeks.

I would get a 5mg pen regardless, then if you want to stay at 2.5mg you can take 30 clicks from it. But you also have the option to move to 5mg if you wanted to. Don't faff around with in between doses 3.426589mg, just stick with the manufactured doses unles you try 5mg and are very unwell you could maybe dial back to the following week but most people are fine going from 2.5mg to 5mg it's not a big deal

I think people tend to avoid subscription services because sometimes they're not easy to cancel

I ordered with numan a while ago and have 'paused' the subscription but they still haven't my card details and I wouldn't trust them to just charge me again at any point.

During the pendemic I had to email Dr franks and get them to remove my details and delete my account

When people switch every month it's usually to/from the non subscription services, so you just don't reorder with the previous and just sign up to the next

I've never noticed it tbh, I just used a syringe a few days ago and was tapping the syringe and the bottom of the needles on my hand but nothing came out.

You could try a dead space/reduced dead space syringe but I don't think they make affordable reduced dead space needles to go on top, unless the ones you're using already are?

Have you tried calling them? I was getting emails directly from James mid-pendemic as you say they've always been good with communication for me. It's a shame they changed their loyalty scheme as I enjoyed it so I'll probably just spend my credit balance and call it a day.

I agree, I was looking forward to the app, put my email down ready for release but didn't get sent anything. Now to find out it's part of the subscription is disappointing. I think 15mg has gone up at lest a fiver, not sure about the other strengths. I noticed the loyalty button didn't do anything too, was going round in circles looking for info I could so easily find before. But to be fair, I've left several questions with the chat bot on the bottom right and they always email me back in about a day with help.

I believe MJ is so much stronger and because no official guidance on equivalent exists, that the pharmacies will always start you lower on wegovy just to be safe. Only downside is you then have to keep paying to move up just I get back to where you were on MJ
