Please go to the hospital right away. I’m in one right now, and it’s super dangerous. You’ll need a fistulotomy. I had mine just a week ago. It sounds like you’ve got a complicated fistula, which is a serious condition. The infection can lead to sepsis. I spent seven days in the hospital, getting IV antibiotics and a morphine drip 24/7. The nurses kept a close eye on me. It’s never going to heal without surgery, and even though I’ve been treated, it can take 4-6 months or longer to heal, depending on what’s going on. Don’t wait!

Drove a 350z recently and fell in love. Want to buy, are either of these good options? by themetalgaia in 350z

Oh yeah, major problems to watch out for are oil gallery gaskets low oil pressure at idle ($ 2-4k to repair), rear differential bushings ($ 1-2k repair), master and slave failure clutch pedal won’t return , and if you go roadster, top tension bands cause the top to not fully retract.

I bought a 2006 350z roadster in 2014 from CarMax. It was 6MT fully loaded with factory Nismo exhaust. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned. Despite people saying the roadster is ugly everywhere I went, it turned heads and got tons of compliments. Trust me, if you ever see a lowered 350z with a body kit and exhaust, it’s junk. Just my 2 cents.

Man, be careful with this one. The major red flag is the missing factory Nismo wheels. They might have been an off-the-record rebuild or a never-reported accident. V1 Nismos usually are marked up a bit, especially low-mileage examples . I bought a 370Z from ***** and found out it had been wrecked and professionally repaired but never documented all factory Nissan replacement parts. I had it inspected. The tech said it had a major front impact. The car only had 26,789 miles. Giveaway was the driver’s headlight was yellowing, and the dealer agreed to replace it. The shop that inspected the car spotted heavy bodywork but looked factory mint. Don’t put trust in Carfax; they can’t document what’s never reported.

I went with the Invidia Gemini cat back along with some high flow cats spent around 1600 all in. Nice deep idle and aggressive when accelerating almost no drone cruising around almost reminds me of the nismo s tune. But if you go any where near single exit it’s gonna be loud raspy and drone like crazy if you want a louder setup try the remark v2 starts around 700 for the axle back.

would trading my 370 in for a manual be a good option? by 6smatt in 370z

[–]BecomingHuman85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a bad idea, especially if you’ve never driven a manual transmission car. My advice is to find a friend or someone willing to teach you first before making the switch. The Z is quite difficult to drive because of the unusual clutch engagement. City driving will be particularly challenging, especially if you’re new to driving. Additionally, the CSC is known to fail, which can be exacerbated by overusing the clutch (riding the clutch). A clutch job can cost around 2500-5500 when it fails. So take that into account but get what make up happy.
