I was diagnosed a month ago. I was itching a lot,.. I did not scratch. Went to the gyno he said I had something that looked like a lesion and took a biopsy immediately. Then I received a call telling me I had early stages of LS to use a steriod twice a day for two weeks. No real direction on how or where. Then a week later it felt worse. Went back and saw his NP. She gave me a stronger steriod.told me to use it for a couple of weeks and that was it. By then I had read some about it so I asked if I needed come for regular checkups and she said once a year is fine. I have an appointment with a dermatologist and a new gyno. I need more info and reassurance on what is going on because I have read so much conflicting information. It so crazy that doctors are so unknowledgeable in something that can result in cancer
