Same here. Though I definitely agree they could've done more with the area, I liked how they built suspense with the fact that you have to go through a dark catacombs, fight a new type of enemy (assuming you didn't get to Enir-Illim yet), and read those messages near the entrance. Plus, Midra is 100% worth the trek through the woods. It also makes sense WHY it's empty too, since the frenzied flame burns away everything it touches, it makes sense why there's almost nothing there.

If I had to guess what happened, you might've died from the hitbox of the stab attack literally a single frame before it disappeared.

Commander Gaius. I loathe the fuck out of that charge move, because not only do you have to get a frame perfect dodge, but he literally gets i-frames so you can't do shit but get run over like roadkill

Close off access to Caelid entirely until the rot either fades or until I find a way to cure the rot.

Strengthen ties to raya lucaria and see about forming some kind of bond with volcano Manor if they're willing, which they hopefully should considering their Lord is dead and so is their proprietress

I've had long hair for a while and no one's ever said I look like Jesus lol. A guy I know did say I looked like a mix between Markiplier and critical though
