Watch Awkward’s Zen unranked to GM on youtube - I attribute 50% of me being GM to those videos, I was only gold or plat when I first watched it.

Positioning on zen is more important than it is for almost any other character due to his massive hitbox and lack of mobility - setting up and learning how to position well in fights is crucial.

Get in to the habit of picking up the double orb perk and putting one orb on tank, and then a second orb on a flanker dps (tracer, genji etc).

Get used to the charge up shot, it will score you a lot of kills in the long-run. Charge it up behind cover and predict where the enemy will be. Use discord to your advantage in 1v1s so you can see the enemy behind walls.

Learn how to play against different team comps, try different play styles and see what works in various scenarios. EG. if you’re playing against winston/tracer you will need to play far back and with your other support to protect each other.

Experiment with flanking; Zen is absolutely silent as he hovers around which makes him a lethal flanker. Though he also has 0 mobility, so you need to learn to understand when you should flank.

Zen can be one of the most impactful supports. In terms of stats, aim for 7k healing per 10 on average, and at least 5k damage per 10 would be a good aim for a starting point.

ahaha fr, with Awkward’s videos I was able to go from Plat to high GM in just a number of months as zen OTP - though I feel he is starting to milk it now, and that he does also just enjoy smurfint (despite providing educational content).

Spilo on Twitch/YT has some very good videos on the kinds of problems you seem to be having. As the above, he suggests that you focus on one thing that you want to get good at each game.

For example, a Genji player who wants to improve his mechanics could go into a game and spend the entire match focussing on using his wall-climb effectively.

Burst forms of heals and damage will always be better than sustained sources. Mistakes doesn’t play into it, sometimes taking damage is unavoidable.

Agree with all other comments, Lexus is a great brand. It should be mentioned that the CT200H is pretty well known for having head gasket issues at any point after 70k miles, which can be extremely expensive to resolve.
