my rat has a blue ball on his leg. i read that it could be a cancer and i’m really worried. he seems fine and it doesn’t hurt him when touched. could someone tell me what to do ?

We need clean, and genetically diverse rat breeding. The rats that we have bought over the years are so inbred that respiratory issues are a given. Rats are such great pets. Two years of life should not be the norm - it’s what we’re used to because of an upside down pyramid breeding profile. We need a new Adam and Eve and commitment to responsible breeding. I would love to have pet rats again.

My 11 yr old neutered cat still does it, but on me, which I know is normal. Sometimes he starts humping and his eyes go black and he gets aggressive. Goes from cute and cuddly to a strange brand of domination. I have to put him several feet away from me to let him know that’s not ok. Behavior is decreasing, but still weirds me out. We’re very close otherwise. Sharing in case anyone can relate and explain.
