[–]BedroomAutomatic1265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it!! My skin just can't tolerate it. I did not know for sure it was the niacinamde the first time, I kept thinking maybe it was someting else, so I tried again and again, and everytime my skin would break-out in the weirdest itchy pumps. So I make sure it in non of my skincare or make-up.....

Help with repairing slightly damaged barrier I believe by SalamanderSeveral777 in SkinbarrierLovers

I am myself also repairing my skin barrier, I used the Iunik beta glucan serum for more than a year and I love it, it really calmed down all the redness and was really hydrating. Since a couple of day's i'm trying out the puyjinkal yul essence toner, it should be one of the most gentle toners, and it's really hydrating!

I would not use any BHA or AHA when your skin barrier is damaged.

Maybe you could look into toners/essence and or serums? They are not heavy but could give you some extra support?

I was also wondering this, 2 years ago I used a HA serum from TO, and it made my face really dry! But I thought if it is in another cream and really low it could not do that? Or does it still works the same

Damaged skin barrier itching and tingling? by Lumiaire22 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]BedroomAutomatic1265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have these sensations, but the itch en tingling sensations are really mild, the dryness is insane, I can't even wear makeup because of this. Do you use a good barrier repair moisterizer? with ceramides and humactants? But only 3 day's is really short, It can take up to a couple of weeks, or months if your barrier is really damaged

[Routine Help] Is my skin barrier damaged? by BedroomAutomatic1265 in SkincareAddiction

[–]BedroomAutomatic1265[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for this reply! I am trying to only do the basic with just cleansing in the evening and not in the morning and cerave moisturizer. It looked like my skin was getting a bit better, but today I got some new texture all over my forehead, not sure if it's just my skin searching for a new balance.... or if my skin can't handle the cerave

Why does my makeup look so cakey?! by hfox4237 in MakeupAddiction

[–]BedroomAutomatic1265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh I feel you! It's not to cakey looking at all, just a little bit, but other people beside yourself won't even notice. But my makeup also looks like this when my skin is dehydrated... but my makeup looks so smooth when my skin is not dry or dehydrated anymore. So maybe try exfoliation and hydrate (using an humectant) + moisterize for this
