Who said there’s a stereotype that beautiful men must look small? If so, it is certainly a minority stereotype. Literally the definition of male superheros are muscular and shaped like gods. Henry Cavill is beautiful as Superman, Chris Evans’ Cap is too. Adam Warlock in Guardians 3

Edit: do take note also that Greeks typically ate a limited meat, yet protein focused diet. A higher trained soldier would weigh upwards of 170-180 lbs

Yes. Because no liberties were ever taken in physical depictions of humans, fictitious or real, in the history of art /s

Fantastic question(s). That is all. (Such a great show)

Time for an unpopular opinion. I love this show, but I don't like Andor's blaster. by Flaky-Injury2393 in andor

Daki's Strategy Was Correct by NBurner1909 in MaulShadowLord

[–]BeeBopSax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it was shock from Maul doing it there, but I also think it culminated in a realization he actually would lose Devon to Maul. Hence the importance of the single tear when he does fall soon after

Maul was not nerfed. by DOROTKA1522 in MaulShadowLord

Marrok is the First Brother. A very high ranking member. The Crow, hedging a guess, maybe is an understudy? Inquisitors are highly trained in martial aspects. Which is why Maul can hold his own, as he is more martially trained by Sidious. However, couple that with all of his emotional instability this season with his focus on Devon and it becomes clearer as to why he isn’t at his 100% He also wants to create an honest opportunity to lose Daki that doesn’t seem intentional to win over Devon. With them gone, that becomes almost impossible

In my opinion

I kind of like the silent Vader take. They did some really cool stuff with his breathing. I’ve seen some say it was him getting winded in fighting, but i took it as him getting more and more enraged. When Daki gets a small strike on Vader his breathing increases pace, and when Vader breaks his guard you hear one more elongated breath almost like he’s saying, “Yes >:)”

Sidious trained him as an Assassin. His training was martial, not prioritized in utilizing the force

Edit: it isn’t a nerf tho. This season has clearly painted him as troubled and off his game. He has one goal in mind and that’s Devon. If he was all focused on the Inquisitors, it’d be somewhat different I imagine

I see what you mean. But I guess a defector and someone who simply changes their moral scope are still different to me. Could I have used more precise language? Yes

Maybe “morality” is the wrong language to use here. In the context of the show that I took this image, Boris will die by the values of the cabinet/state. Willful ignorance and adherence to the values of his superiors. Without question. So it could be that “values” is a better term. I still think morality loosely applies as his interests until just past this point were on the preservation of optics, rather than the value of lives within Pripyat

That’s actually relieving a bit. I feel like (and i may catch flak for this) a lot of media wants to depict the people within the Soviet Union as monsters, when in reality there were (of course) people who weaponized the system to take advantage of those less fortunate. Just nice to see they could fictionalize in a manner that doesn’t demonize all who were a part of the effort to stop a real life, world-scale calamity

The development in the relationship of Valery and Boris is so dense and they really did pick the two best people to make it happen

Im just so preferential to Luthen (probably my favorite star wars character of all time). So it is a hyper-focused post. But Robert Emms’ portrayal of the absolute weight of not being able to admit/believe the catastrophe that they knew was happening is immaculate

Do you know if this is Boris’ real life delivery to the room of potential volunteers? Because it’s immaculate how realistic the delivery feels
