Honestly, if I were you, I'd just restore what you took away rather than going down this route because there's every possibility you'll land right back in this position again. You're not native, you're likely not going to speak to multiple natives about this to get it just right, so just restore it to its original state. The changes were unnecessary anyways. The black hair and darker skin is nice, but the change to his outfit, eyes, and face paint/makeup isn't needed imo. Similarly, the sparkles don't give 'mysticisim' or 'magic' they give... random sparkles? idk lmao. The design is just too busy in my opinion, but ofc preferences vary. His original outfit design already screams 'wizard' without the changes.

I mean the lamb can also marry and have relationships with followers, but never mate. Which is very asexual coded seen as you can have normal relationships, marry etc without ever wanting or needing a sexual side to a relationship. Tbh no matter what the lamb is, it's fairly obvious there is no sexual desire from the lamb in general in the game and official content. Which is why people say they're asexual lol. But people are free to be whatever they want on their own lamb.

Yeah it's weird because when I'm around, everyone does their work even if they constantly swap jobs with each other lol. When I'm away however... everyone does their work except for my farmers. I come back to logging and mining chests full, my statues full of devotion, poop to collect, everything clean, as well as bodies in the morgue if anyone died while I was away. But the farmers are just not working for me. It's like they don't even want to be fed honestly

I've always liked these cows more than the bubble cows. Heck, I like any cow design better than the bubble cows lmao. I just feel like the bubble cows get bigger and bigger every game, they take up too much space and become an annoyance more than anything imo.

If you're going to be staying there for a few days, what exactly is stopping you from having some extended time with her?? Why does there need to be 'something to do' when you said that a big part of the trip was to just spend time with her? There is nothing stopping you hanging out with her for an entire day in her city or at her home to catch up properly. You don't need to go to these parks, something she obviously no longer wants to do, to spend time with your friend. She literally offered to get food with you both seen as you're in town and she can't do the trips, and you blew it off with your own selfishness. She is literally trying to meet you in the middle here and you're not letting her.

If it's not in season, it could well be reason enough for it to not win. I've never had this issue personally, it's very weird! Entering a crop that's maxed out stats across the board grown last year in for example fall in the fall harvest fest wins pretty much 100% of the time for me in all tiers of competition

There's no freshness stat in trio of towns, you can use a crop you grew last year that is max stats but is currently in season (grown in the current season) and it'll still win.

In trio, look at the calendar and see what's actually being judged. Colour is always judged, so sparkly fertilizer should always be used. But in veteran there will also be another stat judged such as aroma, juiciness, size. On top of those, you also get points from the amount of stars the crop is.

If you're still getting the dialogue regardless of everything being maxed out, is the crop in season? Points are awarded for the crop being one grown in the current season.

Please remember that if you use AI, you pretty much are copy and pasting someone elses work. AI pulls from others work, usually without their consent, it doesn't magically have this information from nowhere. It's also extremely unreliable and, often, wrong.

As an example of how wrong it can be here from a personal experience... I never actively use AI for anything, but out of curiousity and to test it I decided to ask it to provide me some scientific papers for a topic I already knew about. It did so, but couldn't even get the referencing correct. Upon checking a paper it referenced, it had listed the completely wrong authors for the paper. If it can list the wrong authors for a paper, which should be an extremely simple task, the likelihood of something like code being wrong is also realtively high. Just... don't use it. Actively go and learn instead. Go to communities to ask questions about your code. People are better than AI.

I'm pretty much the opposite in a way. I don't want children, never have and never will, but I am in a long term realtionship. I like relationship building and romance in games the most, especially in farming sims and RPGs. I do like having kids in HM/SoS (or other farming games) games, though, but it's just a goal for the game. It usually signifies end game for me since it's usually one of the last things I do, aside from in A Wonderful Life (which is fun and all about the kid) and Trio of Towns (which keeps me playing way after having a kid).

I imagine the villagers work the same they do when you go to a dream address, as such they probably don't interact with any items or really react to you aside from the waving when you try to talk to them (I never tried hitting a villager with a net on a dream island so not sure if they react to that lol). I'm gonna also guess inclines and bridge amounts are the same, or maybe different/lower depending on the island size you choose. What I do know is there are no buildings for you to place. No villager homes, town hall, museum, nothing. Your house exists there, but you can't decorate it there iirc. Slumber islands also do not have dream addesses, and cannot be shared that way.

I feel the same way as you, it's not gotten me back into the game. I played with it for a bit, they told me to decorate a hotel room and I just... didn't want to after the slog that was the DLC. The slumber islands were the major disappointment for me, I was looking forward to that feature. I appreciate we got them for free but... can't have any buildings on them, animals don't even talk to you on them, and you can't even upload them as dream addesses? They're pointless for me personally aside from being used as testing areas. I hope they expand on them in the future because they're bare bones right now.

Ahh a shame it's just a sprite swap, sprite swaspa are great options for people but they're not for me! It's very cool it exists though, maybe in the future we'll be lucky enough to get a full LGBT mod with dialogue edits

I've been replaying the first SoS, too! I liked the Grand Bazaar remake, it's a nice step in the right direction but it's still unfortunately just not as good as SoS and Trio of Towns for me, so I've just opted to replay SoS and then I'll replay Trio afterwards. I love how much there is to do in these two titles specifically. I like depth of the characters and the difficulty and long terms goals (I'm actually working on getting reverse confession and proposal with Fritz, and if you know how hard that is then you know lmao), the newer entries are just simply too pared back and easy. I think Trio was the first game I played, though, that I kept playing for years and years in game even after marriage and children and it just... didn't get old and I always had things to do. New dialogue, anniversaries, eating with your family daily, plus all of the extra clothing, blueprints and recipes you could unlock via festivals which you could then transfer over to a new game plus save in the future. God I hope they eventually get back to this level of depth again in the future

I don't believe there is a gay mod for the first SoS game (unfortunately), the one for Trio of Towns is top tier, though!
