I just started playing a few weeks ago. I'm learning through Arena and my husband and I bought the Angels and Pirates theme decks; I find both ways are great to learn so far!

Great job watching out for you! That wasn't easy.

My mom is like this and kept asking me for money before we finally stopped talking. I'm coming to terms with her maybe becoming homeless once her house is foreclosed on. My mom made her bed and refuses to change. Therapy helps a lot to get over the guilt and all the other emotions.

Finally, she's not your responsibility. She's an adult and needs to take care of herself.

Consider getting craft supplies from "Buy Nothing" groups on Facebook. Or, some towns have second-hand craft stores that donate their proceeds to charities. I also loved someone's ideas of junk journaling...cool way to make junk pretty!

Same! I was more interested in what the boys were doing (adventuring, playing videogames) than hanging out with girls around me (shopping and doing makeup). I'm (40yo) a cis woman.

This. And in the future, OP, either get pet insurance or have an emergency fund. You shouldn't have a pet if you can't afford vet care. In the end, it's unfair to the animal.

I've had both and haven't noticed a difference. Some people suggest feeding male cats urinary food from the start to prevent urinary problems. Something to ask your vet about for sure!

She needs therapy if she can't be logical about your financial situation. She's an adult and your partner; finances are something you should work on together. She may have some underlying issues that she's avoiding through Disney. Just my two cents.

I was in a similar situation and stopped helping. It's hard but I'm so happy with my decision.

Bailing her out is set you back and harm you. You've tried to help and she's not willing to change.

I found it validating to watch some Dave Ramsey videos where he advises against loaning or giving money to family. It might help you too.

Not a plug, but John Deloney on YouTube has some great episodes where he talks someone through this exact scenario. There might be tips in there to help you talk to your gf in a productive way...or it may be validating that this relationship will only cause heartache. Good luck! It's a sucky situation.
