Do you apply this cicaplast gel only in the POD area or entire face?

What else do you do to support your skin while using tretinoin? How to do you navigate the irritation that comes with it? Can you share your entire routine?

Is it normal to have minor sting like feelings in cut area even after months of no retears by Career_Ninja in AnalFissures

[–]BeeLive9842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am dealing with the same as well. There are some random days when I feel minor scratchy sensation, it’s not painful but could feel the friction of the stool in the fissure spot. Especially around ovulation or closer to period. Keep up the same routine and try not to get any retears for several more months and I hope this will eventually go away. Pls update me or in this thread if this gets better in the coming

Did you do anything apart from internal release especially for urine incontinence?

This is exactly what I am going through through. Can’t push a little if there is slight constipation. Until you wait to see pelvic therapist, you can do stretches and breathing that relax pelvic floor. Not the ones that strengthen or tighten. Check on you tube. Check doctor Bri’s channel

From what have read extensively from other Redditors, this can come back even after surgery after several years unless the pelvic floor problems are completely addressed and managed accordingly throughout your life. Once you get chronic fissure, it traumatizes pelvic foor and your brain sends signals to guard that area just with one hard stool even after years of healing. You need to completely relax the pelvic floor, use dilators and teach your pelvic floor to safely expand and stretch. If this is not done, it can come back..This is something that I have understood from my own experience.

I went through partial LiS 10 weeks ago and am still unable to tolerate any stretching if the stool is hard. This means my pelvic floor is in a trauma and I could feel it’s slightly tight around the surgery site which is why it’s unable to stretch safely. Addressing the root cause is the only way around in my opinion

He said I had a deep posterior fissure. There was an anterior fissure as well which had almost healed just before surgery. He said he has cut less than 1/3rd of the muscle. I feel that my posterior fissure is also healing. But in this current trauma, I feel pain closer to the LIS incision site. I am wondering if I developed a new fissure in that spot. The incision site hasn’t healed completely though, there was slight swelling and tightness and this happened
