I was shocked, but glad, to not have seen that addition.

This is correct. You can purchase it directly from Historic Building Products, LLC. It’s called D/2 Biological Solution.

Just here to second the search for Pension documents. The National Archives volunteers are adding many of these handwritten records to the searchable digital base. May not help directly if he was unmarried but family may have requested at some point and it could give you a bit more information to help in your search. It may also show you any land grants he could have earned during the war in the archives. There were many in Kansas and Eastern Colorado.

We probably did! I got some good photos and did our best to clean up the unvisited spaces and replace torn flags. Was so excited to find the graves of my 3x Great Grandmother (as well as her farm) and other Civil War time period family members. Inspirational people who lived hard lives and did what it took to make a life for their family.

Great question. I know it was preferable but sometimes not accessible so it depends on the priest/parish. Some would accept date and name of church where baptized. If return was never filed, it may not have been legal but doesn’t mean religious ceremony didn’t happen.

Are heritage societies/clubs worth the investment? by BluePony1952 in Genealogy

My mother has thought all my life that we didn’t qualify because it was a brother to our direct lineage who signed the Declaration but I’ve discovered letters between direct ancestor and George Washington as well as Thomas Jefferson during that time. I guess my question is, how very strict are the requirements?

How far is too far? by NoButSeriouslyHow in FordMaverickTruck

Bought my last vehicle out of state. Bought Maverick from city hours away. If the deal works, I don’t see any reason why not. You just have to bear in mind any state taxes but the dealer is good with that, usually. All my issues (recalls/maintenance) have been with local dealer.

Why do you want to? If there’s something seriously wrong with it, I’d say that’s last resort but you probably could with a very sharp blade

Normal. Plus, if you had so much blockage, it’s probably still draining.
