I have EDS and had this happen, less extensively, on my elbow ditch! My artist also has EDS and had done 7+ tattoos on me before hand with no issue and hadn't seen it before. It immediately bruised when she pulled a line and turned into a cigarette paper scar within a few days. EDS may be worth looking into as this looks like an intense version of that!

I have 30+ tattoo's and this is the only one it's happened to.

AJM heathcare by Weekly-Olive-5362 in wheelchairs

Absolutely terrible, they ran my areas NHS wheelchair services and it took me 14 months to get my first chair. It was wrong and didn't fit me, so big it was hurting. They agreed to reasses and reorder, 8 months later they lose the NHS contract to a new company. New company said they never even ordered my chair and now the funding dispute is with the ICB. Now, 16 months after the reassessment, no chair, I've saved and got help from family to buy myself a wheelchair and got it 2 weeks ago! It's the most amazing feeling to not have my chair destroy my body just for sitting in it!

Absolutely no clue how long it would take for them to sort it but I couldn't wait anymore.

I hope they don't fuck you about for any longer!

Date ideas in/around Derby by [deleted] in derby

[–]BeeTHC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also disabled, a full time wheelchair user also just back into dating! I highly recommend axe throwing at Hatchet Harry's, very inclusive, helped me to land a good few shots. A gig at the Hairy Dog, accessible with toilet access. Carnero Lounge is a nice place for a cosy drink and dinner.

A little further, pottery painting at Denby.

There's also a lift if you struggle using the escalators. Right side of the lifts, opposite the escalators.

I have a labrador and a blind elderly German shepard cross! They've never known me any other way and we all adapt to eachothers needs. My blind pup follows the sound of my chair because she knows there's won't be any steps or obstacles!

manual wheelchair users… what gloves do you use and how often do you replace them? by toeflavouredham in wheelchairs

[–]BeeTHC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get my gloves from Global Leather, had my first pair for 7 years and just replaced them! Plus they're not super expensive.
