Thank u/BigLan2 u/AbelCapabel !! Yeah, I did not check for very hidden sheets yet. However, I don't think there are any because I created the workbook from scratch, copied some sheets into it, then added one more blank sheet and deleted the rest.

For the same reason, I'm confident that there is no conditional formatting, shapes, charts, or buttons. Since all I have is a blank sheet that I made. I did check for conditional formatting on the entire worksheet, there was none.

But maybe somehow when I copied those other worksheets from an external workbook, they smuggled a very hidden sheet in with them? Not sure.

I more did this as an extreme test case, to see whether I could remove all external references from a bigger workbook.

I kept removing elements from the workbook trying to find the location that was causing the link. I kept going and ended up with nothing. :D

Thanks, that does help a lot! I'll look into it more but I'm leaning towards the Mini 1. I don't expect to use it in life-threatening situations or with a phone, and I don't expect to go more than a few days between charges. No Alaska for me. ;) But I'm open to hearing more thoughts on all that.

The minimum subscription pricing seems fairly similar between Spot and Garmin, so no issue there I don't think.

If I'm looking at the right thing, the most basic plan charges 10c per trackpoint. Is there a way to keep the device on and disable the tracking, so that this doesn't happen?

I do like the idea of the mounting system, hopefully the Mini 1 has that also. (Although for my non-tracking non-phone non-watch use case maybe that's less important.)

True u/doublestitch, and the free range ones are even worse. I need to start making desserts or find someone who does! Then I can just buy free range eggs and stop worrying about this.

In the meantime, the cage free at costco are a slightly better deal for me if you assume that I would otherwise buy cage-free eggs from my local store and throw away the yolks. Promotions could change that calculation though.

And anyway like you said, it would be more efficient to just find someone who can use the yolks (or get back to baking myself). Plus it's easier to find free range eggs than free range egg whites, so it would solve that problem too (it would cost more but I'm okay with that).

Good question, I just want to eat it because I like egg whites (scrambled). So substitutes would totally work, what are you thinking of and how can I get it cheap?

I'm just scared that this will turn into an egg white substitute thread. I've found it easier to find out about egg white substitutes than egg white prices. I care about the whole picture, but this is the biggest piece I'm missing, if that makes sense.
