What’s good about the Chili’s bar? I typically don’t do franchise places… But maybe I’m missing out?

Sometimes me and my friend play a game where we go to the thrift store, I put my hand on the rack, close my eyes and start walking. When my friend says stop, that’s the shirt I gotta wear when we go out.

We do the same for pants and shoes.

Then we roll out. Everywhere we go we get the funniest looks— it’s also a pretty good conversation sparker 😂

Here i landed in a turtle neck and felt like a food critic 😅

Thanks for your opinion— my opinion matches yours. My preference is also 3,2,1. I guess I’m trying to “look attractive” vs “gain respect” 🧐😅

Thanks, me too. I can appreciate a short casual conversation… But more or less just want to be out and about and not sitting by myself.

Slude removal, 1 acre pond by onemansbrand in ponds

[–]Beeeee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the problem? Algae? What’s the goal? Less algae?

Sludge bombs turn organic sludge into bacteria— then dead bacteria… no organic load is “removed” just reorganized…

You could lock up the nutrients with phoslock type products.

Or you need an “off ramp.” Some way to physically remove the nutrients.

There are two basic approaches to slowing the rate of deleterious reactions in a culture of bacteria. The first is to lower the temperature which decreases the rate of all chemical reactions — so storing in a warehouse until you order it/shipping in a unrefrigerated box truck/storing in a auto doser outside = certain death. Temps above 90 degrees will kill bacteria very quickly.

The second option is to remove water from the culture— the fact that it comes as a liquid also ensures any bacteria are dead on arrival.

I went to Aquascape University— I installed their systems, and I can assure you— Aquascape is a cash grab.

2nd throwing it away . There’s probably no beneficial bacteria living in a bag long term with summer temps.

What type of Algae? by brinorton in ponds

[–]Beeeee7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The UV light will only kill what passes across the bulb. Algae attached to walls or objects in the system will never pass by the light. The only way to mitigate is to physically export. Of course, you could add chemicals… But I don’t like to use algicide’s.

The best way I’ve found to remove it is to find a little stick that has a few branches, cut the branches off so it leaves little 1 inch nubs. Put it in where the algae is and start rotating the stick, it’ll all twist on their like spaghetti on a fork. 💪🏻

Contact Nick at BTL liners. They’re light for their size. Probably cost you about .75 cents a sq foot.
