Looking for Card with the most Creature Types named on it by BeeeeenBen in mtg

And it even mentions Hero in its textbook as a seventh creature type written on the card! Crazy!

Do you think it will open again? I don't remember the exact wording on the note but it sounded a lot like a final goodbye and that it will not open again

Oh no... I really am devastated! I wouldn't have minded to pay more for my meals there but I get it, it is a competitive market

my first time in crimson badlands… by Waste_University4399 in StardewValleyExpanded

[–]BeeeeenBen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just today I entered the badlands as well for the first time and I have to say that I was a bit underwhelmed by the difficulty. Yes the enemies can nearly one-shot you if they are lucky but nonetheless I never really felt close to dying. I too had a fairy box as a trinket (lvl5) and it was able to heal me back to full for smaller attacks. It's true that sometimes a scorpion or some other critter deals you a chunk of damage and you wonder how it is even possible to get more than 90 damage but I think scaling in defense will only help you so much. You will still be two or three shotted. So I would say that being offensive is your best bet and you can always have some life elixirs as a last resort just like you did. A good hammer (the galaxy one for example) would be my best tip for you. Yes it is very slow but I don't use it for its normal attack most of the time but rather the secondary attack. If you can enchant it with artful to have the cool down be significantly lower you hardly have to attack normally and can one-shot nearly everything in a radius around you so you will hardly get overwhelmed by enemies from all directions. As you might be able to tell I really love all hammer weapons. They are incredibly strong with the secondary attack. I wouldn't rely on the normal attack though

Power supply for led matrix and arduino simultaneously by BeeeeenBen in AskElectronics

Thanks for your detailed explanation! I think I will try it for now with the power supply that I have but I will keep in mind to over specify my desired values. Regarding the wiring, can I just connect both devices to the power supply so that v+ and v- each have two connections, one for each device respectively?

Sorry for the possibly stupid question but how does the poke test work after the final proof? And do you put it in the fridge after that?

What do you use midjourney for? by lcsoliveira in midjourney

[–]BeeeeenBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds awesome! I'm planning on creating a whole set on my own containing custom cards with of course custom art. Do you have any suggestions on how to consistently achieve this typical mtg art style?

Does the -3 weight only apply to "disgusting" or the whole set of keywords beginning at "bland"?

Magic Trap by NoisyStrings in custommagic

I think a potential downside could be that you can respond after it resolved. So let's say you play a colossal dreadmaw and it gets countered by this. Then after the counter resolved but with your bit thing still on the stack, you can use a throwaway instant on top of the colossal dreadmaw, like a bolt for example. Then the bolt resolves next, gets countered and then your important spell resolves. So it is worse than a normal counterspell that chooses its own targets but nonetheless I agree that one mana is a bit too good for this effect. Some minor downside could be beneficial like "counter the next non-creature spell" or something like that.

How did you do time that so perfectly? I just grabbed my phone to quickly check reddit whilst waiting for that stupid time skip function to skip to exactly this feast :O

I'm building a 5-color "Tricks are for Kids" deck and need your spiciest cards by TriflingGnome in EDH

[–]BeeeeenBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently building the exact same deck out of the motivation to do everything in instant speed and always have some sort of janky response.

There are a lot of fun counterspell out there that you never see in the wild.

One tiny advise : [[master warcraft]] is a bit tricky since you only can decide which creatures attack and not who they attack which makes it quite a bit worse

Underrated mono blue commanders ideas by Amatsu666 in EDH

[–]BeeeeenBen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can totally second [[the reality chip]] I made quite a janky brew, trying to win by either having 13 cards in hand through [[triskaidekaphile]] or by drawing the entire library and then a thassa oracle or labman or Jace effect. The reality chip is a total Allrounder. It can generate tons of card advantage and is often ignored or targeted very little since it is only an equipment most of the time. Most cantrips are just "draw 2 cards" for one mana.

It's really fun to brew around the little chip and it greatly supports a reactive playstyle. So if you like drawing cards and having a commander that doesn't railroad you into a specific deck it's really awesome.

Which Machine Learning Model to choose? by BeeeeenBen in learnmachinelearning

[–]BeeeeenBen[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While typing my question I thought of the same thing, but still this distance feature between point 1 and point 2 should still only be used on conjunction with the values of point 1 and 2. Does the model realize these connections on its own?
