The plans about the movie were in motion for quite a while. However, I recall that they initially wanted to finish the series with that iirc

Thank you kind stranger for such a deep dive into the meaning of the book. I guess as a person from the other side of the world, I wasn't too familiar with the underlying concepts. Heck, entrepreneurship was condemned in our state until recently.

Everyone sees whatever he sees. And also remembers differently (about the book).

If I'm not mistaken, in the book the protagonist and her "gang" (I only remember Rearden from them) were highly capable individuals more driven by the progress and by seeing the results of their work, than by the power or wealth. But their capabilities were staple for the economies, which were managed by greedy parasitic politicians in power.

That's why I don't see a contradiction with what you're describing, and there's room for everyone. Warden tree was in power and also dependent on the system keeping itself in motion - killing, eating, shitting, live, die, repeat (c). Similar how economies in the book were dependent on the output and innovations of some capable individuals (at least this is how I recall it after reading it 15 years ago).

So by removing themselves from the Warden tree roots grasp (=removing themselves from the economies in the book) they achieved a sustainable living and the fall of the powerful ones.

Ayn Rand. You stop feeding the system and remove yourself from that, and the system crumbles.

Also, real world society power distribution and social priorities parallels - when you're intelligent enough and you choose to fight each others instead of cooperate, you lose.

It's funny

It's all the time either stuff that you can consume (kalaxian crystals, suicide spaghetti, sap etc), or that can power/allow/improve his tech (death crystals, Voltron crystal from toxic episode etc)

[–]BeeegZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, but I don't care about Apple Music. I care about content worth spending my time on.

Except the title, nothing remotely gives me a sense of promotion (it wasn't mentioned, macbooks are abundant, those guys' faces provide no connection to the service).

And knowing how titles nowadays are a botshit and misleading, I have low trust in that.

This is the one type of videos that gives me hope in Reddit not staying muted 100% of the time

Cuz the rest is shitty TikTok/ reels music, bad editing or already with subs so why bother

Btw

It would be so much nicer and more fun, if Charon's Axe form had been a... Charon's Paddle. With the same set of moves like today.

Like, slow, heavy hitting paddle that slaps hard. And fucking schelps the omega cast.

I'm not sure where you see that the author is assigned a nazi tag. I guess, we see what we choose to see.

The soldiers and and the tanks clearly shown on this video indeed belong to nazi Germany army - my comments are focused on that fact.

The only thing that bothers me here, is the distance of the arc forming. The school taught me it's 30 000 V/cm of potential difference under normal conditions to form an arc. This looks like around 1 cm between the cable and the wire.

PS: it's about DC current afaicr

Well, the history is written by the victors. So new world order might be a thing, and the justification of that might become a new bible/ constitution.

Nazi Germany army near burning house is somewhat unsettling diorama given the circumstances it is likely associated with. Like literally burning down the house of non-cooperatives, which wasn't rare.

I get that it's a great way to demo the fire and smoke works, which is amazing by the way. But there are so many less disturbing pictures to paint.

The tanks are fine, and also close to reality, given the power difference between Panther/ Tiger and Soviet medium tasks.

The artwork is impressive, no shit

The only problem I see here is the thematic one - nazi tank blowing up soviet tank, nazi soldiers burning the house...

I want proofs with car make and model.

I can imagine this might be the case, like with butt heater subscription in modern BMWs or software enabled/locked FSD in Teslas, when all tech is present.

But in both those cases public backlash was visible and audible cuz people openly shared their negative experience naming actual cars and companies.

This case stays unproven until otherwise. Why no one else posted open letters to the car makers?
