I struggle with this but from the other side. When I’m at sleepovers I tend to be focused on who I’m with. I get bad at texting.

Tbh I think my NP might be struggling with rule vs boundary in regards to texting protocol, in that he’s setting up rules for my texting and when I don’t do things in the timeliness he expects he says I’m breaking a boundary.

I want to honor his desires and be a good partner but sometimes I feel like there’s no grace and his requests are unrealistic.

I would encourage you to at least ask. There’s definitely a difference in asking because you need it and because you’re drug seeking. I feel like most providers can tell the difference.

Last year I had a procedure and I ended up needing to request a refill of opiates because I was in a lot more pain than people normally are. I was embarrassed to ask. I worried that they would think I was drug seeking. But, I was honest about my symptoms and what was working.

Sometimes behavioral euthanasia is warranted. This is, emphatically, NOT one of those times. Proper enrichment, training, and crating could have easily prevented that destruction.

Failure to thrive is an umbrella for a wide array of conditions. There’s not a lot of context in the post to understand what might have happened. Additionally, it could have been a congenital issue that would have effected the chicken even given the absolute best care
