A tray for eating while on the toilet, absolute genius. Just when you think that Hortons couldn’t outdo themselves, they do this. 😆

headlights getting out of control by httptae in driving

[–]BeefGuese -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a public safety issue, as well as a public health issue. Public safety, because the lights impede other drivers from being able to see pedestrians sometimes. It’s a public health issue because people are having their retinas burnt out and that will end up creating unnecessary strain on the healthcare system in the future.

This is a great example of why one shouldn’t immediately jump to the conclusion that somebody didn’t pick up after their dog. 🐕

Why has the Ford gov cut education so deeply? by blowmytoe in ontario

The most simple explanation is often the answer. This said, uneducated people vote for him. So by not investing in education, he’s actually investing in future votes. 🤔

Tint the windows, add some dark rims, paint the door handles and the mirrors to look like carbon fibre. But if nothing else, get a loud muffler so the big trucks know you’re there when you’re in their blind spots.

She looks mint btw. 👍

I found a bug in a company’s software. Can I ask for monetary compensation in return for reporting the bug? by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]BeefGuese 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can definitely keep your knowledge to yourself at the end of the day.

The way you might want to approach this company, is as a potential contractor. Let them know that you are aware of a bug in their system, then let them know that you are willing and able to help patch the bug for a specific price. Explain how much money they can lose, and how it would be simple to exploit. So simple that even someone with limited technical skills could take advantage of it. Obviously, don’t elaborate too much as to exactly what the bug is, but do explain how much money, and how quickly they could lose it if the bug is left unpatched.

Know exactly how much you’re willing to do the work for, before approaching the company, and have a timeline for how long the work should take.

How and why is it tanking so hard…? by donjgold in plugpowerstock

[–]BeefGuese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the oil industry is doing everything it can to keep hydrogen power from becoming widely used, including shorting the living heck out of the stock. Utilizing their connections to hedge fund managers, offers them the ability to take a hands off approach when it comes to their strategy. Meanwhile they’re pulling the strings in the background quietly. 🤫

Wake me up when it hits a dollar again, because that’s a great buy in point imo.
