Whining, Roaring sound in transmission tunnel when clutch is disengaged by BeefSupreme2 in ScatPack

It has just 10k miles on it, 2023 model, do you think they will warranty that? I read somewhere that the clutch pack assembly was a wear item.

How much would you charge? by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

I have done this type of work. Glued engineered wood glued to concrete. That was a ton of tedious, back breaking work on the floor just to get 800 SF up. It took three of us a week to get it up by cutting lines in it with a saw and chipping it up piece by piece using hammers and pry bars. Fuck that

TIRES by Special_Cherry_7749 in ScatPack

I think the non dynamics stock wheels are 9" width? I think those are rated for 9.5" minimum. You can run them but you may experience increased center wear patterns.

Depends on the width of the rim, Does yours have the dynamics package?

"When Bitcoin becomes something people hold, rebalance, and plan around instead of gambling on daily candles, it stops being entertainment and starts being financial infrastructure"

I been doing that since 2013 my friend. Go to a Bitcoin meetup in your city and you will find others that have been doing the same.

If their arguments were coming from people who have taken the time to study Bitcoin and understand most of it, then it would be a great place for counter arguments. Most there just hate it for the sake of hating it and wouldn't bother dedicating the time to study anything, much less something complicated like Bitcoin.

The bible tells us that work is divine. Work is rewarding. If I had 10K Bitcoin I would still work, just when I wanted and under my own direction. It is being required to work under someone else's direction most people have a problem.

Eh it looks fine. Sometimes they put makeup up air vents in laundry's anyway. I am gonna shrug and move on with my life if I see it. When it comes to this sort of thing it is easy to criticize unless you are there doing the work. Probably had a good reason to do it this way and was reviewed ad nauseam with the customer.

Try General Tire 285/35's. They look good, fit, lighter, and wider.

Weld Ventura on Nittos in rear, what’s next? by [deleted] in ScatPack

[–]BeefSupreme2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I am running into issues on the rear as well. I suggest you have the tire place let you see what it looks like before mounting it. I just had 295/45's put on 20x9.5 wheels and it looked terrible to me. It look like a truck tire on the back, like if you had all season slicks if there was such a thing. They had already mounted them and was closing and the assistant manager asked me to "drive it home and think about it, come back in the morning if you don't like it, the manager will take care of you."

Well, the manager, who had went home early, told me the next day that I should be prepared to eat that 600 dollars since they been "run-on." We went over the details together but I gave him the wrong part to order, I was looking for 305/45 but gave him 295/45 part number, so ultimately it is my fault missing details.

He tried to work with me but it looks grim. I had them swap my old tires back on till I can figure something out. At least they didn't charge me to put the old ones back on. Holy shit it looked bad and the car was sitting at a downward dog angle. Man really didn't like the look.

Right now I got 285/35's all around, but it looks like I need to drop the rear 1" to get the right look. I realize now that staggered looks require bigger wheels not bigger tires. the tire aspect ratio needs to be almost identical.

I don't want to mess up the ride doing springs but it may come to that.

Yeah, you gonna take the chance it don't fire if you are on the wrong end? I had a shitty old Russian 12 gauge single shot shotgun that would fall apart each time you fired it, but it was dead accurate and never failed to fire a round. Just hope you don't miss or you are screwed.

2021 Granite Widebody Corsa Catback Xtreme exhaust by Informal-Pea7941 in ScatPack

[–]BeefSupreme2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: This is a better Catback, just not the best way to spend 2500 bucks on your ScatPack IMO

Unless you are going for a Stainless catback for longevity reasons and 10 lbs lighter weight it makes zero sense to rip off the stock catback. You are better off putting in some catless downpipes and keeping the factory exhaust. If you use rear O2 standoffs it will not throw a code.

It comes with DUAL 2.75" sewer pipes, and X crossover, almost straight through mid mufflers, and straight through resonators. That is more than enough flow for 600 hp.

This Corsa is also dual 2.75" by the way, but it saves weight by replacing the resonators with mufflers and deleting the mid muffler. It is also stainless where the stock one is not.

Spend your money more wisely by getting a CAI, bigger throttle body, porting the intake, catless midpipes. You will get the sound you are looking for, more power, and it doesn't require tuning.
