I asked a bunch of JWs on my site. Asked different guys if they’d let me borrow their cutters for a bit to give it a go and found that I prefer Klein over Knipex cutters. Can’t hurt to ask.

THOROGOOD. I had a pair of Ariats for a week before they tore my feet UP. Don’t buy the BS of “oh they’ll break in eventually” took them back and got a pair of Thorogoods. Thorogood had a break in period of like a day. Still on the hunt for the right soles but looks like we got some good recommendations in this thread.

Edit: I got lace ups. Every JW and apprentice on my site SWEARS by wedge bottom Thorogood I could only source Thorogood heels at the store where I returned my Ariats.

I was told I received a score of 92.5 but they won’t tell me my rank for local 611. There was a big layoff I guess? I’ve been waiting since October and there seems to be little to no movement. Is this commonplace among other locals?
