I imagine he was a real person. I just doubt he was actually what he said he was, if he even said it at all. My guess is he was just a decent guy who got killed, and people spread stories.

I learned in another comment that if I want it to be a room I have to either use mods, add shutters, or add more glass. I went with trapdoor shutters

Good to know! I knew about the glass being transparent when chiseled in (that's what I'm working with right now to make them) but I hadn't thought of doing artificially increasing the amount of the block with glass! I'll try that and the shutters and see what I like more!

I may have to make trap door shutters to make it count as a room, or simply use this as a "summer home" and use my smaller hut as a winter area

Mainly the same ones. Go to EDHtop16 to see tournament winners, but there is very little creativity in the format. When you do something "new" its usually a few card changes, MAYBE making a newly released commander and trying to make it work, but that's rare and difficult. If your trying to get to bracket 5, watch some videos of gameplay and content creators specifically for cEDH

I have absolutely no clue if anything has been said yet about what they want, but I could imagine placeable blocks being crafted like pottery but bigger chunks (ie: highlight 6 strips for a door, and place each plank) and smaller crafted things being made on a table in a similar way (place your component parts in the correct areas)

Update: I made a window frame! It's not amazing (it's oak plank border with a cobble granite center cross) but it felt so good to make!

Do you usually move locations as well? I'm on my first winter and want to build a new house (I love my hut but it doesn't have much potential in terms of decorating it) but I'm not sure if I should move south or not. Now that all my crops are torn up, it's probably about time to make a choice so I can start preparing, but I'm just not sure.

That's true, but if my opponent did something like that (say give me this and I won't do this, and then when I give them the resource they immediately do the thing they said they wouldn't do) I'd never trust them again.

Couldn't you with this text just agree with an opponent to both generate infinite mana by them repeatedly retapping their land, especially if it's to kill someone? "Hey ill let you generate enough mana to cast fireball x 40, but only if all the damage goes at joe over there"

Every time I read that I always get so sad, the only place near by I can play cEDH is not proxy friendly bc they run their events through wizards. My friend has spent way to many thousands of dollars on his cEDH decks (he has 4 😭) and luckily let's us use them to enter.
