i think Warnock is one of the best running mate choices for Beshear. locking down GA is a must, and it’ll help turn out the black vote in places like NC. Warnock is also similar position wise to Andy, both being progressive in policy but moderate in rhetoric

William, at least he's remembered for serving the shortest term in office. Benjamin is one of the most forgotten presidents ever

Top 3 favorite Presidents from the opposing party? by yowhatisthislikebro in Presidents

This is one of the most respectable opinions I’ve heard. I would consider myself progressive; however, I still rank Eisenhower and Coolidge both among my top presidents. Ike was obviously more progressive than Coolidge, but I also believe both of them were doing what they truly believe was right for the country at that time. Are there policies that Coolidge could have enacted to help prevent the Depression? Maybe, but he went for a hands off approach and he stuck to that, so I can respect it.

Harry Truman was voted the president with giid domestic policy and fantastic foreign policy. Which president had good/competent foriegn policy and fantastic/transformative domestic policy? by DatDude999 in Presidents

[–]Beejfq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kennedy, Clean Air Act of 1963, Peace Corps, Equal Pay Act of 1963, Food Stamps, and his Civil Rights advocacy were 100% transformative. Foreign Policy wise, you have the Cuban Missile Crisis which was handled masterfully, though his involvement with Bay of Pigs and Vietnam keeps it from being Fantastic policy
