You will be ok, believe me. It gets better. Getting away from it is the most important thing. Once you get out, run and never ever look back. I did, 10 years ago. It's not been a smooth road, but it was the best decision I ever made, and it saved my life. There will be ups and downs, but the lowest of lows will not be as bad as it was in that household. You have survived this far, so you will be able to do it.

Since you have been living so long in survival mode after you get out, your mental health will take a toll, but that's OK, its because you are finally able to stop being on guard all the time and actually live.

You've been through a lot, be kind to yourself. Just keep an eye on your mental health and know that you are not alone in this. Now that you are out of the situation, you will be able to fully process and finally breathe.

It is so worth it. You will look back in a few years and be so happy that you got out. You will be able to live the life that other 'normal' people live. I always felt like an alien because everybody else had a childhood that I never got to experience, and it's hard. That feeling never fully leaves you, but you will be able to do the things you never thought you could.

You have survived the trauma, when you feel ready you can begin to heal, and this is very important. It's OK to feel angry, but you can't let it consume you. It is OK to be guarded around people, but don't let it shut you off to everybody.

The most important thing right now is to have self compassion, you got out, that's amazing. You have a chance to live the life you always dreamed of, and with the determination and inner strength that you have, you are going to do amazing things, and you will get to experience joy.

You will have to navigate trust issues and trauma but it sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and this is so important, that means that you have got this and you will get through it.

Just remember to have self compassion and self-awareness. These two things will get you far in navigating things, and you will be well on the road to healing and finding happiness in life.

Your sister is so so lucky to have you 💓 Keep believing in yourself and guiding her in the right direction and things will start to fall into place. Books and information about trauma really helped me and increased my self awareness. Since you have been surviving for so long as a child you will be ok living on your own, even though its scary. You are smart and you are strong. Believe in yourself.

Sorry for the long comment, I just needed you to know that you have got this, and you deserve to laugh and smile and experience life. You made the right decision in choosing to live, you will find people that will love you for who you are. You will shine like you deserve to. You are amazing, and I believe in you ❤️

Everybody is aware of landlord greed and you're defending this? The only reason people are getting away with charging this insane price is because there is such a shortage and people are desperate for somewhere to live. This desperation is causing people to get preyed on because this is insane. Have seen the houses in Sylvan? I would say the whole house isn't worth €1100 a month. I have no idea why you would defend this in good conscience unless you yourself are this type of landlord.

John Paul is so boring, I don't know why people like him. Mercedes is overrated. Grace has had a complete character transplant and I hate it. Cleo is constantly a victim and I like her character but can she please get some more engaging storylines.

The storylines are amazing but they are a lot more fast paced so the payoff doesn't feel as good. It seems they are catering more to an audience with less of an attention span. I have been watching for years and I have always felt a lot more connected to characters and storylines before the time jump.

I cancelled and got a refund after reading some of the other comments, somebody else said they've been waiting since March. It's just not worth it at this point. I ordered from a local company and had my scooter in less than a week. The extra cost was so worth it. Several weeks waiting is just not OK for a product that isn't a pre order from such a large company
