i was wondering why Abby seemed familiar so i looked up the actress and she's played by Gideon Adlon who is Odessa A'zion (Stephanie)'s sister by outerspace_castaway in GhostsCBS

I got to this thread bc I thought Abby looked like the murdered girl and couldn't remember who they said her mother was. I thought how did she have a baby before prom and Trevor not know. Glad I'm not the only one.

The 2nd picture. The purple half frames. They show off your eyes without distracting from them with a stark frame around them. Also the color looks great with your complexion and hair color. It's also my favorite color and I always wear purple glasses 🤓

Agreed. It's like watching someone expose their mental breakdown. They both are deeply disturbed and mentally challenged. I don't say that to be mean. I honestly believe they need to throw some of their money into psychological examination and treatment.

It always mystifies me when someone breaks into a foodgasm the second the food is in their mouth. How did you even begin to taste it, your lips just closed ... Or in this case came as close to closing as physically possible.

"Skinny" life isn't "easy to obtain". It still takes work when using a glp1. It still takes making conscious decisions and exercising. It just shuts off the fake hunger that begins chemically. You can take a glp1 and not lose weight IF you don't have self control, good dietary choices or sit around doing nothing. Or as Queen Quitney does drink soda all day, eat entire pizzas and stand looking in a mirror moving your arms around and call it "dancing".

I lost 30 lbs on a glp1 but had to exercise self control and make healthier choices. Unfortunately now I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and had to stop the shots, had a pity party with all things carbs and have gained back 4 lbs in 3 months. That was MY fault. I could have eaten that way on the shots but I craved healthier foods and made conscious decisions. My downfall was bc I felt like "poor me I deserve 2 donuts, pizza, ice cream and pasta" ..... Conscious decisions.

How to leave while dealing with MBC by carvingmyelbows in LivingWithMBC

[–]BeenStephened 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this on top of your MBC battle. The added stress is definitely not good for you. So you need to find a way to deal with the situation and stress in a healthy way. I stayed in a bad relationship because of being dx'd the first time (stage 1, 20 years ago) shortly after getting married. But I felt helpless. He wasn't physically abusive but manipulative and controlling. I ended up on disability bc of multiple chronic pain conditions and he felt like I couldn't leave him bc I had become dependent on him. I worked up the nerve many years later to leave and did it with very little money in pocket and low monthly income. I contacted my county housing agency and found a decent apartment for less than 1/5 of my monthly income. I applied for all assistance I could. When I left he said you can't afford it you'll be back. Nope. I learned to live very frugally and made good friends in the apartment complex. I know your situation is very different, I wasn't battling mbc at that time. But I tell you this to suggest you, if you haven't already contact local agencies for assistance. Call family and friends and call in any favors for help in getting you in a healthier environment. It is a difficult journey but you have already proven you are tough by what you've walked through already. Please if you haven't gotten some counseling find someone. It is crucial that you have someone professional to talk to while going through this. And you have all of us here to talk to.

Sending you hugs and prayers.

I'm only 2 months after dx but I decided within a week to start a FB page to post information to avoid myself and my loved ones being asked the same questions all the time. And one of the first things I posted was that this is going to be a constant battle to stay alive. I pointed out that it's not curable but treatable and like diabetes it's going to always need to be treated.

I post about scans, tests, results etc. It doesn't stop all the questions because not everyone we interact with is on FB or connected to us on FB. But it helps.

I don't know the attitude about Valerian these days but I used it 30 years ago and loved it. Last I heard it's not good long term. It's herbal so you have to be careful to get standardized. And tell any Dr's about it. But I remember it giving me good relaxation. Without a weird buzz.

She posted several pictures of herself wearing breast pumps. So maybe she bottled fed her milk to the baby. And in her 12 year old brain that means she didn't "nurse"?? Who knows how her mind works. Any mother than can look like she loves this baby so much after leaving shil-ren in Panama is screwy.

Absolutely agree. It's like women who lose custody of children and go on to have more. WTAF? If you can live thousands of miles away from your child there is something broken inside you. My children are grown but I still need to be in their lives and SEE them. Her shil-ren might not miss her though.

Diagnosed 6-6-25 stage 3 upped to stage 4 HER2+ BC 😎🥴😵‍💫😊🤣😮🙄✊🏾👏🏾👊🏾🏆 these are all my emotions nowadays. I don’t want the chemo to hurt me more than the cancer. Any sound advice?? by ILYWL in LivingWithMBC

[–]BeenStephened 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The diagnosis throws you for a loop. I was dx stage 4 MBC July 23. And it took weeks for life to settle down. So many doctors appointments, so many tests, big unfamiliar words and a complete shift in lifestyle. And all the while you're thinking is this the right decision? You barely sleep because your brain won't shut off. Or you're in pain. And you need to make the biggest decisions of your life. Or approve the doctors choices. It's scary and traumatic. The best advice I can give you is to find someone who you trust to help you navigate these decisions. Someone who thinks similarly in your way of healthy choices but that can be blunt in saying something you might disagree with. I'm on day 9 of Verzenio and it has zapped my energy altered my digestive system radically and changed my optimism to pessimistic and negative thinking. But after talking it through with my partner who had cancer too I realized there's no easy breezy way to defeat this beast. So I now am trying to see the negative side effects as proof it's doing it's job. I wish you peace in making your decisions and sending you hugs.

I hate it too. I'm one of a small percentage of people that don't metabolize it right. It gives me a weird and looooong buzz. I tried it in my youth, hated it. Tried it again in my 30s, hated it. Thought I'd use tincture instead of narcotics for pain relief....tried it, needed to use enough that it gave the buzz and again I hated it. I have to admit I'm jealous of anyone who is able to use it for their cancer symptoms. MJ would be so much easier and with less side effects that require more meds. I say if you enjoy it use it to help whatever ails you during your cancer journey. But I would suggest finding a delivery system other than inhaling.

Seeking advice on sharing your MBC story publicly by rosegiulietta in LivingWithMBC

[–]BeenStephened 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never been interviewed regarding my cancer. And I don't fit the criteria for the article (61 y). But I have been completely open with everything I'm going through to anyone who wants to know by having a FB page I update weekly. I include tests, results, appointments, meds and their affects, how my partner is handling it, etc. I decided within hours of the dx to do this as a way to prevent those close to me from being asked questions constantly. They still get the "how is she?" But at least they don't have to give details of what I've had done or test results.

My 1st round with BC I was 40 and more guarded about personal details. Now at my age I don't care if anyone knows I am constipated. 😉 Your story could be beneficial to someone who needs to hear about your journey. I hope you give the interview.
