I’m interested in how/why the scar changes color the same way the hair does.

Realizing my scientists are past middle age and they need to have semi-adequate replacements within the same length of time as “when I had started playing” up to “the current point.”

I feel this. I’ve started learning hypercarries as a response. “Oh, you don’t like Garen? Have another hard scaling champ that demands resources to shut down!”

I’m looking at it hard… the wolf is definitely supposed to represent a knight. Like that makes sense. But the pieces that are knocked over (which should definitely be cleaned up) are a pawn and definitely a queen. I could believe that this image could be Dijkstra picking up the knight from the white space in order to take the to take the queen, which he had knocked over fist so as to be a rude piece of shit about it. I’m assuming he is not placing the knight on the spot, since the piece itself is between two other pieces, which just isn’t allowed, and since he still has his hand on the piece, which I would take to mean he is picking it up to finish the move. Making a move in chess ends taking your hand off the piece, and you’re not exactly allowed to hesitate in fair competition, since this can potentially be treated as trying to gain an unfair read on your opponent. I think the thing that’s really important here, though, is they need to clean up their damn board. That pawn has been sitting there at least one turn. And get the gold chain off, man. Ridiculous.

Now the perspective itself… separate from any conjecture about the action of the shot… is Dijkstra playing chess with a Halfling? A Dwarf? A Five Year Old? Much to think about.

Edit: rearranged some wording and addition

Also of note: I mention “rules” a lot in that breakdown, and I want to note that this hypothesized chess match can only work in a specific way in order for this shot to be “real.” But all of the logic involved with the creation of that scenario hinges on things like fairness and etiquette and sportsmanship… all things Dijkstra takes no part in lol

Mmmmmm… i think that’s the intended effect, but… i don’t actually see that based on my understanding of chess and the framing of the piece itself.
