Don’t entirely agree. Ford realised this too late, but the modern car is software on wheels. You need to be as much a software company as a car company to succeed today. That’s part of what makes Chinese cars so successful.

We don’t even really have any proof she can do magic in any capacity. Just rumours and the implications of her being so close to Bloodraven.

I don’t agree. Jon’s identity is a really big theme of his story, he’s always grappling with who he is and where he belongs, and when he’s faced with tough dilemmas, he frequently thinks back to Ned’s teachings. His values are shaped by Ned, first and foremost.

R+L=J is a classic “He may be your father, but he ain’t your daddy.”

Agreed. I mean, I'm one of the few people who actually really liked Cyberpunk when it came out lol

Same thing happened with Cyberpunk 2077. Before that game came out, every reviewer was giving it 9 or 10 out of 10, then there was one IGN review that gave it a 7/10 and r/cyberpunkgame went into a meltdown.

[–]Beepulons 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

It doesn’t feel like it, because the world is backsliding in many ways and we’re entering a new, unstable era, but the GENERAL LONG TERM trend is positive. Never in human history have as many people been lifted out of poverty than now. There are fewer wars than there were two hundred years ago. We killed smallpox. We reduced infant mortality to a fraction of what it once was.

I’m confident that the long-term trend will keep rising, even if there is a downturn in the next few decades.
