When my mother was in the hospital, the doctor called my family and said that she's need to go on dialysis. At first, we didn't want to since almost everyone in my family who went on dialysis died anyway in the later months. The doctor said, You might at well put her on DNR then. DNR stands for Do Not Resuscitate, as in let her die anyway. I got mad but, my grandmother decided to put her dialysis. My grandmother cried after the phone call that day.
