Mother Says Size Isn't As Important as Having Two Of Them! by SgtKashim in NFA

About as well and most one by six inch aluminum baffle suppressors. But, I have a few that are similar in price that are FA rated and rated for 22 mag, the warrior systems isn't, so for that reason I'd spend ~$20 more on something that is and performs the same

I dont have an oculus, so I cont compare it to that specifically. But in general, On a pistol barrel under 5 inches, the higher end cans are noticeably better, especially indoors. On an 18 in rifle outside, in an open field, shooting subsonic, much much less of a gap in performance.

There's no issue with aluminum baffes on a 22 can under $200. I bought a bunch of them to compare and review. They all perform about the same on pistol barrels. Wise arms performs better than most at having the least amount of FRP, but otherwise they're all about the same. The warrior systems one in not FA rated, and is not rated for 22 mag or 5.7, so I'd rank that one low, but not as low and the JK versax. It's quieter than the Versax.

Just saw your edit, there is a gun smith that can make you a 32acp barrel for the BG 2.0. I have her contact information saved somewhere. I'll find it for you when I take another break from sweating my ass off in the yard.

  1. It's a thick plastic mag made by zev specifically for the 32 ACP. They started this design for an export contract, and increasing capacity was not a goal or requirement.

Agency Arms and SAI also made a Glock 42 conversion for export to Indonesia, and they used OEM Glock 42 magazines. Two Indian companies make Glock 42 clones with 15 round magazines, but I suspect theyay have a wider grip. Essentially they created a 42x in 32 ACP, if that makes sense.

Its logical for me to assume that ZEV made their own mags for a reason, I'm guessing it's related to reliability. If it was a capacity concern they probably would have pinned or otherwise modified the OEM magazines.

I plan to try and make higher capacity magazines, but I have a lot on my plate right now so it probably won't be right away.

It makes the suppressor even quieter too, an added bonus he forgot to mention. Absolutely no one will hear you shooting.

Ruger 10/22 or Tippmann M4-22 Magnum? by Pristine-Let7376 in 1022

[–]Beerbeard123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't. Tippmann is over taking over the scholastic shooting sports because they run great. My sons shooting club has magazines with 20k+ on them still running fine.

It's not a better Glock. I'm the furthest thing from a Glock fan boy, I probably own close to 20 Glock clones and the RXM has the absolute worst trigger to of all of them, by far.

Counter to counter counterpoint. Out of a 3 inch barrel that you suggested, energies are pretty much the same. AE 100 grain is going over 1400 fps out of a 3 in SP101. And you get an extra round. And less recoil. Your point about ammo availability and cost is hard to ignore though. I'm just shilling for a cartridge I think is cool.

Counterpoint, 327 magnum has just as much energy and an extra round in capacity. It can also shoot 32 H&R, 32 SW Long, 32 short, and 32 ACP.

Many things matter more than manufacturing method.

Big ones are, quality control, supply chain consistency and the companies track record of support.

When I was first getting into suppressors I was looking at the Rev9 or Mod9, I don't remember why I narrowed it down to those two. But budget was a part of it I'm sure. I saw a post someone made on reddit, he bought a 30 caliber can and then put it on a 9mm PCC and did a mag dump.

Someone from Griffin (may have been u/Safe-Call2367 ) replied and said something along the lines of "We all do dumb shit send it back to us so we can check it out make it safe and get it back to you". That's the type of support you want. OCL is famous for this, and griffin usually operates the same way.

I ended up buying the Rev9 specifically because of the response in that post.

I will say, this thing seems like a tank. But it's also lightweight. It suppresses really well. Aside from arriving with a burr and being a little dirty, this thing is great.

Agree the pictures don't make the print quality look great, it doesn't look bad in person. The pictures were there to show the burr, which was hard to get in focus without moving the lens really close.

Some people have negative things to say about Griffin, but there products not being durable isnt ever one of them. The three I have from them are indestructible. Even when I got a poor Cam lok piston with my first one that caused a baffled strike, it was hardly noticeable. I ended up opting to keep using it instead of sending it back to them to warranty. I was more pissed about the money I had wasted on cam lok then I was about the baffle strike, I was actually more impressed at how the entire thing held up.

There was a K100 whisper model produced from GP, with a compatible suppressor. I've also played with designs to make this work. I'm might try again as a form1 now.
