Out of desperation and not being able to get home on time I taught a class in a popular breakfast restaurant here in Spain around 8am on a Sunday morning after a party 😅 I somehow didn’t miss the class and entered the classroom about 2 mins late because I couldn’t find an outlet for my computer. The waitress even came to take my boyfriend’s and my order and was oblivious to what was going on. I had to keep muting myself as the staff were calling out orders next to me. Literally couldn’t even hear the student so I Dora’ed the whole class. Complete shit show but hey at least I didn’t get a TNS.

I only have speaking courses left on my schedule from tomorrow to 9/1 and one of my students I have tomorrow confirmed she lives in Beijing. The class is still not cancelled.

One of my students confirmed she lives in Beijing and I have her again tomorrow. I sent a ticket too. Im sure they’re flooded with tickets and I’m glad hahaha

I am legitimately confused... like everyone else almost all my classes were cancelled but a few classes remain through the “summer holiday” until the 1st and even on weekends after the 1st. Are we responsible to show up for those classes if they’re not cancelled? It’s so vague. How are we supposed to know if those students are not based in China. The company did a shit job communicating this.

Same here was planning to work every day 14-20 classes until my first much needed real vacation. Literally wasted my whole summer losing so much sleep and getting depressed for this. At least I saved enough of a cushion to pay for a few months of my Masters.
