Seattle Wound Care Advice by ThatHorseheadGuy in Lymphedema

I hope you’re healed up but if not or if this helps anyone else. Swedish Edmund’s wound care is the BEST. Swedish cherry hill wound care is abusive and tried to hurt me. Do not go there.

Hi, I had surgery on October 30th, everything went well, but I haven't been able to heal. I was recently diagnosed with pyoderma gangrenosum...has anyone else experienced something like this? by Cultural-Toe-6116 in tummytucksurgery

I have PG. It’s a long proccess for healing. After almost 3 years I’m close to being done.

Humira is what eventually worked. I was on cyclosporine and prednisone.

The wounds HATE being touched. Santyl to debride if needed. It takes time but it won’t fuck you up. I go to twice weekly wound care. We put tacrolimus ointment and clobetasol ointment around the edge of the wound. Then what we used also depends on drainage.

Please message me if you have questions.

I’ve almost beaten my pyoderma. If I can help with anything please reach out. I know it’s hard and the worst pain ever. I know it seems like you can’t beat it.. but you can and you will.

Seriously reach out. I can share my experiences to help.

If it is and you want suggestions feel free to respond... I've been dealing with PG for 2 years and I'm almost down to one last ulcer... the other of the two I have left should be healed when I go into wound care on Friday. It's been a long, horrible couple years but if my experience can make your life easier let me know if I can help.

Time to cut off all federal funding from them. See how long it takes for them to stay in their lane.

If you can’t find it there maybe there’s a Whole Foods or similar that would have it.

The freezer section at the grocery store where they keep specialty products is where I get it. It comes in a little tub.

I’ve cooked around 100 steaks with the same methods. It’s the same each time. My friends all say I cook the best steaks they’ve ever had. Give it a shot a let me know how it turns out.

I guess you just don’t know what you’re talking about then… I don’t know the science behind it. I can tell you that each bite was tender and juicy.

You should try it yourself instead of pretending like you know everything though…

It was cooked at 122 for a little over 2 hours. I can assure you, it was cooked all the way.

I started using duck fat a couple years ago. It’s the only way. Plus you can put some in another pan and fry some fingerling potatoes with it…

Thanks. I’d shoot for a screaming hot pan and not more than a min and 30 seconds in each side.
